    why the negativity about the coils? put heavier springs in and you have a better ride than leafs and can carry a good load. always the air bag option as well. patrols have always had coils in the utes ride is so much better.

      Patrols come out with a leaf rear option for the heavy loads, when coils are loaded up in patrols coil towers bend, common problem, only time will tell how the Navara goes when people start to load them right up will we se how good the chassis design is

    Im hoping this refresh will make it to the American market soon. I love the Frontier, but as dated as it is, I'm afraid to invest in one.

      Ryan Hamilton i like the Frontier too. The exterior i always liked it, but the interior is not as nice on the current one. I always liked small trucks like Ranger, Tacoma, Frontier but i bought a Honda Civic 😞.

    If I am only going off road on straight roads slightly muddy very light roads for camping, the 4x2 is plenty correct? considering the 9k increase just for the 4x4 feature?

      The NP 300 has a shit engine full stop, if you have a fuel pump issue the hole engine needs too come out to access it, the timing chain is weak rated for 2.5 tons. Nissan kept the same timing chain as the D22, the tow capacity Nissan give it now is 3.5 tons tow capacity go figure. Best too Stay away from the NP 300 its a time bomb waiting

    Those engines are too anemic for the North American market as well Diesels are too noisy for my taste
    rear coils are a big step up from the farm trucks of yore though
    No need for the New truck to carry heavy loads here, we have big trucks that are much better suited for that like the Titan XD or Titan

    Hey Guys some really interesting facts for you in relation to 2013 D40 550 V6 Turbos Diesel Nissan Products, Nissan Service, we have the top of the range Nissan Navara D40 550 V6 turbo Diesel and Man you got no idea how it pulls, Now it had a minor electrical problems with computer controlling air conditioning, and everything else so it went back in last year almost at the end of warranty and I would say they reset the computer which it came back about a month later but I was to busy to get in before the end of warranty. This is my warning to anyone considering Nissan Products from here, It shat the Inter cooler $2,000 Australian Dollars, the Computer Sensor is shat $2,000 dollars and the best news is they must start there but cannot tell if they need to do more computer sensors and parts after they change those to Parts, Now Boys this is the rip off that was the 3rd time they fixed the computer problem without changing parts in warranty, but now the electrical fault extended to dropping to safe mode 10 to 15 times an hour so stop shut down and restart, VDC does not work, Cruise Control does not work, Air Conditioning will not start which was the original fault that tripping and rebooting the computer got working enough to run, Now they say the new rip off they extend to the lucky customers here is that Nissan will pay 70 % of the repair that should have been fixed in warranty so Sorry Guys I am not feeling that lucky and that is because here in Australia it is a common Knowledge that the Intercoolers are guaranteed to fail, now if your lucky and do some 4WDriving it will break early but if your vehicle like mine is a tow Horse and 95 % is on road then you will be lucky and the thing will break after warranty for $2,000 for a little Aluminum radiator now think on this Boys, it had a 3 year warranty and lasted 3 years and 4 months now I will pay $2,000 with a 12 month warranty on a part that will fail again. Your right about nothing touched the V6 Diesel even the V8 landcruisers wont get close unless they are chipped.
    So My Friend this is the last Nissan Product I will buy because I can see where they are going with their dealer network not fixing things in the warranty period, Also the Intercooler I can get a souped up modified one for $800 which is 50 % heavier, also the dealer charges $120 to scan the car on the computer and won't give you the findings even though you pay for the scans cause Nissan won't, but you can get reputable repairers with the same gear that do it for $50 and the results are yours so can you guess what I think of Nissan, and their dealer rip off ?
    SO no I am not feeling so lucky cause I saw the oil start dripping but was to busy to actually find exactly where it was cause its a tiny weep, and I saw it way under warranty.
    Garry

      @vtrmcs Před 7 lety +1

      Over here in the UK these new ones come with a 5 year warranty. But that situation sounds like it sucks.

    • @AttitudeAdjuster
      @AttitudeAdjuster Před 7 lety +1

      Yes but I am guessing in the UK that you might have more people driving more on road then off so what I am saying is still worth taking in as in lighter duty work it may go further before failing but make sure that you keep hard at getting it fixed every time you find something wrong and in my case single problems often are in the case of electrical problems actually all linked and it certainly seems as though each sensor its often worth over a $1,000 to $2,000 and there are allot of them, the thing is I would say its more likely the controlling computer that is faulty even though they say there equipment only shows the cheapest fault first and then so on and so on until the faults are resolved which is the method originally of mechanical repairs.
      I just hope that my story helps others to either get things fixed early or to make choices that give them a better outcome. Although it might only sound like a warranty issue its more about the attitude changes of Nissan Australia and dealer network as I can't talk for Nissan UK or Europe. Just remember they will promise the world to make the sale but make sure they deliver the promises
