This game really needs a taxidermy upgrade. Imagine a creative taxidermy system where you can place the animals yourself and put them in custom positions similar to the hunt photos that Classic had. Could even add in terrain manipulation like rocks and plants.

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to type a short note each time you taxidermize an animal, so you can remember the occasion a little better? For instance "My first diamond Whitetail", or "shot with a bow from 60m away", or "been looking for this bear for 3 weeks". You know, things like that!!

This game has come a long long way.
I’ve been play COTW for a couple years now and I continuously play it every day and watch your videos and others to find more areas to hunt but I’ve never seen any tracks or just seen any diamond potential animals on my maps. I’ve only seen 5 rare animals as well, even in multiplayer.
With the elk and puma I have both of the animals albini
I wish they bring back the old scoring system

Awesome work, csnt wait until mine looks this good! Got first diamond (warthog) and albino gold (blue wilderbeast) in 24 hours so I'm so happy but just got a room filled with decent golds atm. Cant wait for some of the finds like yours!

If you are missing your animals go to your trophy manager and retrieve it, it should be in there.
They should make a trophy lodge for every map they have and being able to have it if you own the map, and put these two in Europe (the free one) and vurhonga (don’t know how to write That one)

I did the glitch where you can put any animal on any mount in your lodge and somehow figured out how to duplicate trophies. I have 10 of the same Piebald diamond bucks, same kill time, stats etc on my wall lol
You can get some of your trophies back from going to the animal thing were you can take multimounts down and you just go to the trophie and hit retrieve it works for Xbox idk if anything else

I was lucky with my first diamond, it was a 1000 whitetail, sad, tho cuz I messed up another max level whitetail in the same herd

Is there a bug on the grizzlies? I shot a 9 and i think it went through the hit animation before the bullet got to it so it hit stomach not lung... I looked at the video of it and the shot looked perfect. Would have been like 2 trophy rating over diamond

There was two level 5 moose on the same lake in different drink zones one was 288 gold and a 310 diamond
one thing that annoys me as far as taking up space is the lynx. Seems like you should be able to put it on the small ones but you can't.

I don't know if I got lucky, but I had some animals disappear from my lodge like my diamond red deer, but I went to trophy manager and recovered them and got them back

I got a melenistic huge gold muflon and it changed in my lodge to a common made me so mad
I got a cinnamon gold black bear once.

I had a lodge similar to this that I was making and when I first started it was when I got my first diamond amd it was a max weight and score male gemsbok but right after that my lodges reset and I lost everything.
