Excellent video, thank you. The Android version is pretty old but mostly functional (a few glitches). I was looking for an op sys for an old laptop and this installed mostly well.

Turning off hyper-v in your pc might fix the problem. Run the CMD in administrative mode and run this command bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off,i would use virtual machine to install Android on it

i try to install in that way. The installation process goes well but after that i select reboot and it show a black screen without any android logo. This happens in two different old pc. Is that a problem with drivers? Or some computers are not compatible with android?
is it better than emulators regards to input lag in high end pcs and can we duel boot it along with windows also those it get recognized by games lid codm... and get a ban kr something?
It's better than emulators,you can dual boot it along windows if you create new partition in windows,i don't know if it's recognized by games,but if games support x86 i guess it should be fine

Can you launch “momo” root detector and check if any modification to system were found? Also does it have root acces?
Android installed successfully but after that instead of Android bootup screen, there is small blue in upper left corner with a blinking dash below it...

The biggest downside is you do not get modern android versions. The latest as of 06-22-2024 version is Android 14 but this method only goes up to Android 9 which was release in 2018.

when the installation got done, i unplugged the usb drive and i got the flashing screen with some glitches

Hey, do we have to use EXT4? On the website it says that it can be installed in NTFS too, and Windows 10 gets all fussed up about EXT4 drives, so I was wondering.
Unless your PC is quite weak it would be wise to install it as a virtual machine to see if you like it. That's much more flexible than dual booting. Android x86 is not even close to being as developed as Android on ARM. Dual-booting on a single hdd is best for old, weak notebooks whose hard disks are inconvenient to swap.
@@Comm0ut Firstly, yes, my PC is too weak for a virtual machine, and secondly, Windows 10 and Android x86 are installed on separate HDDs and partitions, so I wouldn't call that dual booting. It's just that Windows notices the drive and doesn't recognize the format and so tries to "correct" it. I just need to know whether there is a significant difference between NTFS and EXT4 in this case.
yes you can, but it'd be better to format as EXT4

F9 For dell, F3 for hp I guess?, and f12 for non branded basic systems

You have to reinstall Windows if you haven't installed Android on separate partition

You need to unplug the usb and reboot Android. And also boot into the BIOS. also select the windows one. (normal)
But if you installed android in separate partition You need to reinstall Windows. but when reinstalling windows. Don't forget. Your data will be erased when reinstalling windows.
But the android booter has saved on the usb i guess.

not sure but you should be able to something called "Dual Boot" maybe you need to not format the partition which has windows and install android x86 in a new partition this can be done with Linux so I am assuming that it can also be done with android x86.
