@Caped Baldy that isnt the reason in the slightest. It makes absolute no sense as we only reached 100 buildings recently with th14. And you are also wrong about the percentages. It wouldn’t be difficult, it just would require non interger numbers which they try to avoid. It’s not really cus it’s difficult. If there were lets say 120 buildings. 1 building would be 0.8% for example

Th11 is gonna take a lot of time not gonna lie, every legit upgrade is like 10 days atleast or 8 days (for eg: wall breaker)

Every time there is another level on the collectors and mines, the loot on dead bases increase a lot. Last time i played th9 it was much harder 2 years ago. Now on my mini i am cruising through upgrades and cant spend my loot fast enough.

Imagine the time before magic items. Ngl, I was mad when magic items showed up. They made game very easy. Now people don't grind like we did around 2015-16.
The game wouldn’t have as many players if you had to grind 5 hours a day 7 days a week.
but at the same time, there is an insane bottleneck for new players at these town halls. since we are to th14 most players will quit before they get higher up. it's to help new players "catch up" so to speak.
I played back in the early days of coc and quit around 2016 for the exact reason you’re defending, it was insanely grindy and just- not that fun. Magic items and largely the gold pass overall make it so much more accessible for so cheap, and even if you’re free to play, every new town hall they lower the costs and upgrade times for everything down below to keep the game balanced. The fact that magic items are still accessible through f2p but just rarer makes it even better, it has you actually use your head and think on when to use them with the most value.
like for example i quit when th11 just came out in 2016 when i was stuck at th8. i came back around 3 months ago now and i’m already at th10.
supercell really needs to split the lab into 3, elixir troops, de troops, and spells. everyone has the same issue of the lab taking waaay too long
I really hope you can put 2 upgrades in the lab

They start complaining on how long it takes!😤 but I can show this video to them and prove to them they SHOULD get stuff for their lab.

I was just watching some th9 free to play stuff and the guide go way quicker than the game goes and I said how does he get so many resources but then I remembered he always has extreme cc troops and in clan games his clan gets through every level

I think they should add simultaneous upgrade feature for lab like upgrading elexier and DE troops and spells at same time
hey Jo! So, at TH9 you are able to use elixir to upgrade walls well.. lvl9 and above. what would you think if maybe th14 or sometime we could use DARK elixir for walls. i was only thinking this as most people who are completly maxed out on DE have no other options other than for it to be stolen from other players.
It would have to cost a lot tho, and + super troops exist
the reason they avoid this is so the dark elixir farming economy doesn't completely run dry. most people run out of things to do with dark elixir that high up, and it gives those who aren't fully maxed an opportunity to do so.
but maybe in moderation it could work

I think the barb and archer upgrades are overrated. It's a law in CoC that everytime a hero ability is used, it HAS to encounter a giant bomb. It happens around 9/10 times with me.
That’s not always the case. Just your experience

so happy they pretty much halved the times for upgrades now, after finishing the clash pass the healer only takes 8 days rather than 14
I upgraded Bowlers with a book and saved 10 days. Also I got kicked outta my clan at the start of War Leagues i’m mad

Can you make a video on common mistakes players make even actives. ones I have figured out are, 1. Not upgrading barbs and archers, since they are the level that pop with that hero. 2. not editing war base for wall while upgrading them on farming base, checkered walls don't do as good as one section all solid. 3. Not using both war attacks, just because you cant get a star since there all done at your skill level, you can still get loot even if it has already been 3 stared. 4. Not taking advantage of the free gems on the builder base, clearing out all the trees on the builder base and the gem mine is free gems. I know theres more and im sure im a victim of some of them. Can you share any ive missed on a video so i dont also make the mistakes alot of people make.

I am thinking about a strategy on which you will only base your progress by maxing out the lab from the start(th3). And continue to upgrade your village as long as the research progress is maxed for your townhall level, then upgrade the th and do the same for the next townhall level
Who dislikes these videos? It is a part of a progression series, and Jo does exactly as advertised. It's like continuing watching Big Bang Theory even when you dislike a show about "nerds", and disliking each episode as you watch.. smh

Super Barb's has been my go to farming army. I have my heroes constantly upgrading so I will run 52 Super Barb's with no spells generally and I get massive amounts of loot soo easily. Trains up quickly and it's a very cheap army to train.
Jo my defences are almost maxed one more week and they should be maxed my queen is 22 and king is 16 and im seriosly burned out should i go to th10? Or take my heroes to elvel 25 like you did in the th9 series hope you read this😁
Dam those upgrade times are insane. Thank god they reduced it and there is the gold pass now. The healer for example, it’s now 10d and with the gold pass it goes down to 8. That’s a 28% reduction F2P and 42% reduction if you use gold pass.
4 electro could loot all outside loot .. so up either goblin ( for super goblin) or edrag first.. that you will farm while all heroes are up
