Idea lang, but I think the ending scene goes like this: The Boat is MNL48 and their career, sa teasers madaming times siya na stop or parang kumapit sa mga bato/lupa tapos nung nagstop ulit, it might also represent their great loss of members then napulot yon ni Gabb with their new seifuku from River era. She looked at it then let it go and later on smiled, parang she wants the boat to stay with her since kinuha niya but she set it free, it may represent that MNL48 will continue to sail, and face the challenges that they will encounter on the River. They shall survive and reach their success with their supporters and hope, just like the song.

y’all i’m still getting emotional. It was around 8yrs ago when I first started to be aware that AKB48 existed. When I decided I wanted to look them up, River was the first MV of them I’ve seen. It was like the national anthem for me, more so than KFC. It opened the door to 48g for me. I’m so happy and proud that it officially debuted in my local language. A song really close to my heart officially sang by my fellow countrymen.

because the push is fairly weak. 48 sister groups are mostly anchored by someone within the group that has gained a fair amount of popularity outside of the group itself, and this is how they cater to non-48 fans. mnl48 has none of that. i am here as a fan of 48 and 46 in general. and to be honest, nothing in this group pulls me back to see more of their videos. they need a strong 'face' to anchor the group. it has always been the tactic of the 48. foreign kenkyuuseis, a featured release, a celebrity member. etc
