I wish there was a mod or new mode that would simplify the resources to only Food, Wood, Stone and Gold like age of empires so I can focus more on the combat aspects of the game. The tech trees are crazy long. It's not that it's hard, it's just long. It's not even hard to understand, it's just unnecessarily complex. Or at least it's nice to take a break and just focus on combat because the combat animations are fun. I can get it set up but it takes hours to even begin enjoying the combat mechanics.
I haven't heard of such a mod but it might exist. Anno but Anno 1800 probably more than the others is primarily a trading/building game with combat as a secondary feature. But yes, I see your point.
She was picking on me, refused to back down since she has too many naval defenses but no battleships. Many hours spent on having my battleships and airships destroying her islands just to have peace again. (But yea, I declared on her way back since she was the strongest, already having knocked down Beryl then).
@@RB33z Beryl was the same for me, she had like 10 cannons per beach but no real navy, she tried to offer peace but i conquered all of her islands from the old world to the arctic xd
