As a slave, but yeah.
Appreciate how they took hominids from Earth, altered them, blanked them, then not realize that the fossil record would confuse the hell out of us. Well written sir.
I early on got it, the fact that we got the fossil records. We know that we evolved here.
By the sound of it, our evolutionary history is more or less what we know, its just the leap to homo sapiens was engineered rather than natural; it seems that the "missing link" species is kept in a preserve for study and conservation, but is native to Earth; its just that its extinct in its natural habitat.
what part of fantasy people don't grasp? or nitpicking just to feel smart is more important than enjoying the content?
Where is God in all this?
@@NathiussKing This story pretty much shows there is no God in this Universe of the Story. The Word God is just a placeholder.

I'm honestly surprised that the human delagates weren't more blown away at the fact that the capital is situated next to the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy.
I miss reading Scifi books as a kid, this reminds me of it, a temporary escape from the clown world we live in.
U hit the nail on the head...bullseye.
Ironic because sci-fi books are clown books. You went full circle.
What are you smoking? what book type do I have your permission to like ? you mad bro ?

Shout out to an optimist!!!! Thank you!!!!
I like the extension of SolarPunk to GalacticPunk, and the idea that we grow up and start considering the ethical implications of technology ;)
Nicely written and read
There is a movie made back in 2955 called the Stranger from Venus. It discusses this very topic. You might enjoy it.
In reality the UN would totally botch this.
If not the UN, the people of Earth sure would!! Imagine the response of just the organized religions of the planet.
My name is Talon
In reality the un probably would have to be dissolved and something new to take its place
I’m a newbie and just stumbled onto this by the grace of CZcams’s algorithm. I’m really impressed. This is a wonderful effort, well crafted and narrated and expertly conceptualized for this time in the exploration of space.
Newbie to sciFi? No???
I read my first 55 years ago.
Along with Mark Twain and Dickens and Jules Verne, Conan Doyle, Cervantes!!!
This is cool!!!!
Cool! I only read 3 in your list, but will catch up. But I liked Ursula Le Guin’s writing.

A similar story I read talked about the impact on humanity that included mass suicide by those unable to accept the implications of first contact. It’ll be interesting to see how the federation responds to the atrocities committed by humanity on humanity and other species.
This came up a a random suggestion by You tube and I listened out of curiosity. After 10 minutes I subscribed! Fantastic writing and nicely read!

Wooow!!! Unbelievably good! Just checking and I got hooked, couldn't stop listening. I'm truly amazed at how well written and read this story is. Excellent job!
I used to read fiction like this back in the 80's. It was a game called starfire. Empire building in space with other players. There are still a lot of magazines online you can buy that have good fiction for star trek, traveller, dungeons, and ship creation. I have two storage bins full of them to go into now and then. Im always amazed at the amount of content, complexity, and diversity of world lines they contain. Starlog, nexus, traveller, Gurps, D&D and more than i can remember magazines had plenty of flavorful stories to add spice to any kind of campaign for roleplaying. You could probably play a game then make a book of it afterwards. Not many people play board games like starfire anymore. Im glad i came across this.😊
There are numerous books in the Starfire universe, written by the creator of the strategic rules of the game David Weber, better known for the Honor Harrington series of novels. He co-wrote the early books with Steve White. White has continued the series, first with co-author Shirley Meier (the Fifth Millenium series), and later with Chuck Gannon (contributor to Eric Flint's 1632 series and creator of the Tales of the Terran Republic series).
Do you ever think that you may possess some past publication publications? And what value they would be not only monetary but to the community. Space offers have been around for a long time. I read star trek long before it ever became a tv show. Also the conan series. Not everyone Is a silver surfer fan.
@@BillSmith-ut5li - The only think missing from this comment is "Touchdown Lakers!"
I think most of my magazines are mainstream. I haven't cataloged them but I know you can buy nexus, captains logs, dungeon, challenge, mech commander,Bayern, beanstalk, Unnight campaign, traveller, striker, d&d and more online if you know what to search for. Besides, my mags are not in good condition and only hold sentimental value.
Loved that game , hours of fun !
Fantastic. I stumbled on this purely by chance. I hope more story telling content as good as this will find it's way onto CZcams and onto me... thank you 😊
It’s a nice change to content on CZcams. Thanks very much for the story. Look forward to hearing more.
Nice! Yes it is!

FACINATING CONCEPTUALIZATION.
I think we can all agree than the Humans social and technological development has been nothing short of outstanding. However, one question remains - and it's a question that I feel is shared by the entire galactic council...
... how do they taste?
With our tongues, obviously.
Roflmao
I'm told much like a fattened pig.

Shared by cannibal tribes, the answer appears to be pork, but sweater.

You might want to go look up a pair of short stories, written by Alen Dean Foster. The first one is titled; With Friends like These... The second one is simply Who needs enemies, but the stories are from a pair of anthologies of short stories. The subject deals with what remains of the Galactic Federation, centuries after recovering from a War with a group they thought either long dead or so reduced in stature as to no longer be a threat to galactic peace ( And exactly how VERY wrong they were on the subject). Spoiler alert, the group the galactic federation was worried about were Humans, the war ended not with a defeat of the Humans but rather with the entirety of the Humans being sealed on their planet while their entire system was placed behind a sealing barrier one which can't be opened from inside the barrier. The short stories are amusing, and are a perfect example of a Cautionary Tale. The two anthologies were originally published by Ballentine Books in the late 1970's early 80's ( 1978 - 1981). Enjoy.
I remember those.

Wow, I usually never bother to listen to this kind of stuff but this was so well done, so interesting and the narrator's voice was perfect, before I knew it, I had listened to way into the story, and by now Ive downloaded to make sure I get all of it as I don't have much more time before I go offline for the night. This is probably the best sci-fi story I've heard in a long time, maybe ever. This is an awesome piece of work, please keep it up.
dude, it's an AI reading it lmao
@@SankyEON It doesn't matter who or what is reading it. As if something can't be well done if it's done by AI🤣🤣🤣
@@theworldrealm72 after listening for 20 minutes of the story, I think the whole thing might be AI. Image and story itself too. the way it just repeats phrases. guess you must be the author, since botted comments wouldn't reply.
@@SankyEON That doesn't change the fact that it's well-written and well-told. I think this is the work of a man: www.youtube.com/@scifistories1977 But according to himself he harnesses AI voices etc. and he is very much into AI, so you're probably not completely wrong.
AI is very usable when used right and I don't understand why you would 'lmao' it if it turns out to be 100% AI-created material.
If it actually is purely AI-generated material that's very impressive in my opinion. However, I don't think that's the case, but ofc...I could be wrong, it happens to the best of us.
@@TyranasauruzFlex6669 Thanks for the comment and yep, I've noticed that, and it is the weirdest thing. Why are they here in the 1st place if they have such big issues with the AI-generated material?
I agree that AI must be kept far away from the news and has no business there, but when it comes to sci-fi stories and any other fiction it is very usable and it's not like all the human writers suddenly are out of a job.
PS: A long rant about AI.
This development will not stop, there is too much money in it and it brings a lot of progress to medical sciences etc. And it seems to me a lot of people have a very poor understanding of what AI is.
They seem to believe it suddenly will come to life and start making decisions on its own and don't seem to understand that it can never exceed the boundaries it's given and is basically just a lot of codes and algorithms. AI is a wet dream to a lot of hardcore sci-fi fans and a nightmare to many others, but in reality, it can never become anything as we see in the movies and it is not something worth worrying over unless it is used to create fake news, propaganda a.s.o. With or without AI I think we have to be much better at checking the sources and verifying things ourselves instead of just assuming the news is telling us the truth these days. We have experienced fake news without the use of AI and it will probably not become less of a problem now that AI is becoming part of our daily lives.
Great story!
Cheers for sharing.
I love when the first line of the book grabs me. I am familiar with the reader who is excellent. Thank you, I am sure that I am going to enjoy this audiobook.

An impressive story. It reminds me of the old stories I use to listen to on the radio many years ago. It is well written, engaging and most interesting.😊😊😊
I was recently bemoaning the lack of science fiction, lots of science fantasy but not science fiction. Then I discovered this channel. I can breathe easy now.
This story has deep hints of the Ananaki lore, especially about our origin. Interesting.
my coworker suggested this subreddit to me. i kept procrastinating, even though it sounded awesome, because i don't really reddit like that.
then i woke up with my youtube algorithm auto-playing one of this channel's videos, re-reading an HFY story.
and oh. my. god. can you say I N S P I R A T I O N?
i can't tell if this is being read by an AI or not (which I suppose would be a compliment to the human, except for those weird mispronunciations), but i support it anyway
I hope it's AI this gives creators more tools.

Great use of AI, all ‘round. Terrifyingly so. Well done/shared
The good thing about the aliens is that they're as dumb as they come. One tries to pass itself off as the Egyptian God Horus and fails dismally. It then blabs top secret galactic secrets to the first human it speaks to. This makes a refreshing change from the usual advanced aliens depicted in past Sci-Fi stories.

Absolutely captivating series! Couldn't stop watching. Can't wait for more episodes! By the way, I've recently embarked on my own 3D animation project in the sci-fi genre.
Only problem i have with this story is the fact we share 99% of dna with our closest ancestors chims and slightly less with other primates. All mammals share the same bones just streched in different ways. This story implies we evolved on a different planet and dumped onto earth. There is now way in having a genetic code trillions of bits long almost identical to other earthly lifeforms just by chance. You can track evolution of all beings on earth simply by small changes in dna over millions of years.
I found this page by complete accident. I'm a PC Gamer but I also luv Sci-Fi. These 15 episodes remind me of an old PC Game called Masters of Orion. If you ever write a complete book of this I would gladly purchase it!!!

It’s such an interesting story. It reminds me of several aspects of Star Trek yet with originality of its own.
In the omnibus form, the repetition starts to wear on. The genesis of mankind was told three times almost word for word. Also, most of the aliens seem to be iridescent.
@@AndrooUK They sort of work in episodic format, but omnibus would need to be re-edited.
I liked the premise and story, I listened to the whole thing. I have some questions sure to be answered in future installments. What happened to the Criller? Who controls the 2/3 of the Galaxy that the Federation doesn't? With the Orions, the Federation should already know about human nature? Are there humans outside of Federation space? Why not send Orions with the first delegation, why hide them at first?
Feels like ChatGPT when it ads suddenly new element that makes big changes, while still being all positive and optimism.
This was answered. Humans were extremely lethal. No matter what strategies were given and even some that the federation could not compete with (sic), humans were able to adapt and achieve victory.
Essentially, the author said humans made the Criller go extinct.
Great story and storytelling!
Outstanding Performance in every aspect
Frank Herbert wrote a similar short story where humans were extremely capable of violence , and were being visited by a shipload of anthropologists studying us.
If I recall correctly his series starts with a starship from the federation making first contact with a new civilization of humanoids, who are very human like, but not Human. The ship has a group of scientists who must reach a concensous before agreeing to share advanced science /social secrets. The one among the scientists who has the deciding word is the Anthrpologist, NOT the head of the group or the captain of the ship. Everything seem to be going along in a fine and peaceful manner until the anthrpologist runs across a group of "teens" playing a odd "game". His seeing their actions raises red flags, because while humans play similar games, the reasons are more militeristic than for fun. He then cast his vote for them to leave imediatlly! Sorry it's been almost 40 some years since last I read the book it's from. I may be mistaken, but I think the stories name is Concenous Interplanetary, but as I said it's been a bloody long time since last I read it.
Very nice to meet you, User.

Story is too good to be true, how long before the humans end up in the cooking pot?

Scfi doesn't make enough $ so Hollywood puts it on a lower shelf.
As an old lover of sci-fi and after discover the real true behind it I never though to find pleasure on it again. But the way your channel present this override my expectations. The opposite to sci-fi is sci-reality. Science Reality based on true knowledge. The real science one day will make sci-fi disappear for ever. And for good the moment is closer that anybody can imagine, but not in the way some expects. We, humans, have all the info we need to know in our hands but a fight of control and power of some insatiable power lovers has hidden that knowledge to the vast majority of mankind. Reality will always far beyond that any fiction. And humanity will confront that soon. Maybe is time to add a real Sci-Reality history to our old Sci-fiction deal. A hope all discover the true hidden to us before the time mark arrive for the change. And the true is hidden on and old first book of human history. With deep neutral study this old Hebrew collections of books know as the Bible can response to any question you could think as a matter of importance. But to do that we have to take it from the ones that auto declare themselves owner of the interpretation and give it to the ones that really study it without hidden agendas. The Bible has no mysteries. Except for the ones that don't do its homework. I have saw by myself the extension of this knowledge. And I just can't stop to being amaze of what the future has for the ones that will survive The day feared by many's.
Nice story; engaging and entertaining.
