It's almost Mother's Day and I'd like to share a moment with you one of my favorite mother-daughter moments with my Mom - doing her makeup. While she was helping me recover from surgery, Mom graciously allowed me to play in her face, much like we did when I was a child. She is proof that women are beautiful at all ages and makeup for Black women over 50 (or any woman of age) does not have to be difficult. Did I navigate things like mature skin and fine lines well? Also an unwritten word that women over 50 shouldn't play with different shades of eyeshadow...blue, purple , green ect... Supposedly we are to stick with natural shades. No one can apply liner to my eyes without my eyes becoming watery and irritated as well. Mom looked awesome and I love her beautiful smile. Looks like you bumped her hair too.
