The Russian version of the show “Art of Hans Zimmer” by the famous world cinema composer Hans Zimmer was held on November 10 at the VTB Arena in Moscow and on November 12 at the Yubileiny Sports Complex in St. Petersburg. The show set a European record: up to 120 artists on stage, 236 lighting devices, 6 laser projectors, up to 14 thousand spectators in the indoor arena. *The show has become one of the brightest projects of 2023 in Russia!*

Diana was invited to sing in this Hans Zimmer concert as the main soloist, she sang 2 songs, this one and the theme of Dune, you talked about power, wait till you hear her sing "Paul's Dream" from Dune, gigawatts of electricity and power... she destroys everything with her powerful vocals, your hat will be blown away and you will think DUDE only Diana can do these things, i advise you to go for the St. Petersburg video, it has better sound.

“No time to die” impression is that 007’s characteristic motifs mix with our Angel’s layered, detached idiom like vodka and dry vermouth so very Bond, yet more modern than ever and I am sure if Zimmer hears this, he would blame himself of why at that time (2020) he hasn’t used Diana for singing this soundtrack! I am not trying to say that Billie Eilish’s voice was chosen for this song inappropriately, but all I am trying to say is that if Billie was 10 out of 10 for this song, Diana would have been 100 out of 10! The whispered voice of Diana draws us in to a world where spies are just like us, and there are almost imperceptible hints of the original theme throughout, right up to that last twanging chord. After hearing this song, I might need to see ‘No Time to Die’ once again.” Billie’s beautiful ‘whispery’ voice, is as she just said in an interview: “It’s just different’ is quite right, but if she heard how Diana sang this song and how her voice is, then I am sure again that she would have said: “OK, please take Diana to sing this soundtrack!” Around the halfway mark, we start to hear Diana’s voice really come out of its shell. We’re expecting it to keep building up to a fantastic moment, when she comes right to her extremely high notes and that only she can sing like that! Someone somewhere said Diana’s voice wraps you like a snake! And I think this is a good expression, because it really takes you into itself, regardless of what song in what context and with which notes it has been constructed! Full Stop!
I would have loved to have Diana on this instead of Billie…bc of her lower and polyphonic tones alone…but that’s not to take away from Billie I enjoy her as well but when you have this “Siren” and a dramatic contralto at that…who’s classically trained in multiple languages etc…the choice is obvious “Diana”.

Agreed. However the version I first watch was at the BBC awards live with Billie and Hans …I saw the studio version and was actually disappointed and then I saw this and just as impressed if not even more…I think it excites me at the possibilities because Diana is so versatile vs Billie…and I enjoy her too.

Diana can perform this song at least as well as Billie Eilish, but I doubt that Billie Eilish can perform the part from Dune. This is the uniqueness of Diana.
Oh there’s no way she could, as we both know Diana has a large powerful voice…Billie is airy and light…and while it may be pretty if she did attempt the Dune song…I’d figure there’s no real comparison…I’d have to see and react to the Dune song to know for sure but after what I’ve seen from both artists. This one has a little better audio, more close ups of Diana and better visual. It's amazing. You should check out the original first. Diana NAILS it. If you search for "Dune official soundtrack | Paul's Dream - Hans Zimmer | WaterTower" you will find Diana's song near the end

Yes 👍🏽 you’re spot on about the differences between the vocalist. Billie and her brother wrote the lyrics and then Hans Zimmer composed it. Diana can choose any genre and her vocal control. The comparison with Billie was also very impressive.
Her two performances of the DUNE soundtrack (Moscow and St. Petersburg) are about equal in audio, but the St. Petersburg performance gives a better view of her on stage as she goes into her trance. Or maybe she is just a good enough actress to convince us she is in a trance. As she and that gown sway in front of that microphone stand, I think all eyes are on her. It's the video with the blue eyes on the thumbnail image.

As other commenters said (and knowing how much you love her),you MUST try her Dune cover, Sarge. Once you hear her first notes you are going to enter DEFCON 1 mode. I finished your video and i saw that you know nothing about Dune so here is some points to help you with that
- Dune is a sci-fi movie about a dessert planet named Arrakis that has a precious mineral that can enable people to do interstellar travel, so of course everyone is out to get it, the people of the planet are ending up as slaves or worst, but they also have a resistance group that fights against their oppressors until a chosen one rises and guides them to freedom.
- This particular piece is called "Paul's dream" and you can hear it in many parts of the movie but if you watch the main trailer of "Dune" then you will hear it, since it is the main theme of the movie.
- The language she sings in is not real, it is the language of "Fremmen" the oppressed people of planet Arrakis, the main planet in the plot of Dune.
- Diana is not the original singer of this piece but her cover is by far the best and most powerful one, the original voice has more vocal fry in it, it is not so clear and it has been digitally touched.

This song is lovely, but it's just a little bit of relaxation before the bomb she dropped on the world with the Dune theme song. It is right up there with Rechenka and Can't Help Falling in Love as the most iconic things she's done, the performances that define her. What she did in the Dune cover is unprecedented and I don't think there is a female singer alive that can replicate it. She sounds better live that the original, which was a studio augmented recording with digital effects to get the feel Hans Zimmer wanted... which sounds flat in comparison to Diana's interpretation.
Voice for the ages man, I'll keep saying it.

Ваши предпочтения - это ваши предпочтения и я конечно не собираюсь их оспаривать. Лишь небольшое уточнение. Объёмы каверов Дианы, это не её прихоть, а условия устанавливаемые организаторами шоу и конкурсов. Также выступления на большой сцене с оркестром, для Дианы не в новинку, у неё был опыт в ещё юные годы.
Почему этот концерт не снять профессионально, а не смотреть через слабые, случайные видео зрителей???
