Tru G since 120 bruh that’s to long for an anime to get interesting and they haven’t even adapt the manga and episodes feel like filler. And the only good chapters and episodes are the ones that involve characters like Naruto and Sasuke because they know that without them the series is trash.

They're both close, but part 1 I think. It just feels more planned out, and polished in terms if story, and regardless of the power creep long lasting animes usually have, it still has its ways of staying intersting even looking back after watching both part one & two. Like nostalgic hand signs, consistency in story arcs (Chunin exams and the forest arc, didn't really feel the training with Jiraya), and the slowed concentrated taijutsu. They even recognized that team 7 wasnt the only one to exist. Part 2 is no less than amazing but it was unnecessarily lacking in consistent plot progression, had some story loop holes and had a lot of arcs that felt too slow in comparison to part 1. Part one had less time to show for it, but it definitely felt like the same show was created by two different people when you compare to part 2. Imma go with Part one on this.

Part 1 all day cause as a consistent story, no filler in between important plot episodes, every arc back to back is amazing and iconic, and doesn't waste to much time explaining shit

Definitely Part 1. Back then, at least Shino got shine here and there. Plus him and Sasuke had potential to have a good relationship, teased by their back and forth before Shino fought Kankuro.

a series during that time period of Kakashi’s time as the hokage would’ve been infinitely better than boruto (anime anyway)

Part 1 was awesome, the whole idea of being a ninja was grounded and it felt more inspiring to watch, and part 2, while it is still awesome, felt like it needed that older feeling of part 1 Naruto. In part 2, Naruto and Sasuke both had good development, but I feel as if the stories could have been better, and the only arc that really stands out to me in part 2 is the Pain arc, and that shit is the most reminiscent of part 1 Naruto, giving off the feeling of when Naruto went off to find Tsunade with Jiraiya and he mastered the Rasengan. And to top this off, the best arc between both parts is hands down the tournament arc, including the fight between Naruto and Gaara. With all of this being said, this is just my opinion, and you can feel however you'd like but this is just my two cents on the matter.

Part 1 by far in terms of being my favorite and the best:
No Shinobi War Arc.
Konoha 12 got screentime & development including Sakura.
Ninja fights felt more closely like Ninja fights instead of DBZ fights.

I like this idea cuz I remember when we followed him on one of his missions of the exploding humans after the final fight, it was like watching the Batman of the Naruto universe and it was actually raw af. If they don’t have enough fuel to tell his what he did in shippuden long enough, then they can show us what he has been doing while he travels the world, and his progress on his mind , maybe with some good side stories of people he meets that make him stronger mentally and how he views the world, cuz if you think about it we still don’t know to much about sasuke in the sense of his mindset, it’s almost like Sasuke is just there, like a powerful shell of susano. We already know everything bout naruto and his struggles with parents, I wish we could get inside Sasuke’s head.
The village never would have let him pursue his goals especially since Itatchi's actual role in exterminating his clan was as an enforcer of the village. They would never want to risk him finding out. As for Kakashi he coddled his students treating them as children and did basically the worst thing he could at this time which was telling Sasuke to just get over it. It makes sense that he would leave when did.

the point of this series was to understand each of the characters... We already understand Naruto and sasuke. Making another series just for sasuke would be ridiculous. The series needed a change and we got it (boruto ), we now have something different, which in my opinion, is a good thing.
