- Mercury Glass is so easy to do! All you need is Rustoleum Mirror Effect spray paint, anything that is glass (I use an old window pane), vinegar & water mix, and an old T-shirt or microfiber rag. Be sure to Subscribe for more DIY tutorials!

I've something very similar to this, but I took it one step further. After doing what you did, I sprayed the glass with gold mirror spray paint, and it gave it a pretty cool looking antique effect.
So pretty. I recently bought 14 10x8 picture frames from the dollar tree, sanded them & painted them to look ruff & antique so I could make a faux unhinged "French door/window" accent piece & I needed this idea to complete the antique glass look. Thanks!
So simple and easy. What an amazing result. Thank you I am going do my window exactly like yours. I have the same type of panels.
Thanks for the clear instructions. Yours came out just like I want mine to be, perfect!
Best review of the Mirror Effect paint I've seen.
I really liked your process and how the windows turned out! Simple, effective and beautiful!
Patty Tyler thank you so much!!
@@victoriaj432 This turned out great! Did the paint stay on the glass? I've used the Krylon mirror paint and it chips off so easily. I also paint over it with black acrylic paint to help with the aged look, but it still chips super easily. I just wonder how this held up for you, and want to confirm you didn't add black paint (spray or brush on) or a sealant? Thank you!
Great job! Just what I’ve been looking for. Thanks ever so much! 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸🙏🏻🙏🏽🙏🏾😀
Wow! Thank you, this was so helpful ♥️
You are sooo great 👍🏻😘💋
Your video is the best tutorial on the Mercury glass...love it! I'm wanting to do vases any suggestions on how to spray inside the vase without you having the paint run? Thank you so much!
Connie Miller thank yo so much!! To spray the inside I would cover the outside with saran wrap to protect from over spray. Then do a very thin light coat and let dry in between sprays.
EXCELLENT WHAT IM LOOKING FOR! GREAT JOB!
This is great! Is there a way to get a little more gold vs. black specs and can these be cleaned?
I have a old window that I'm going to do this too. How many layers of the mirror effect should I do before I do the water and vinegar drops?
Как замечательно получилось! 😁😁
Are you flicking the vinegar on the back or front side ?
Can you do this with plexiglass too?
Does it come off if you want reverse the effect?
I don't think your music is loud enough. You should definitely make it louder.🙉
How many layers of mirror paint did you do?
Would this work on a Pantry Door that has a "pantry" logo on it that is not a sticker?
How many packages are enough to make five square meters of glass
Can I use plexiglass instead of glass??
I tried this, but its not coming up when I blot it with a t-shirt.... I did let it fully dry though.... Did the spray still need to be slightly wet when i sprinkle on the vinegar/water solution? Or do I just need to leave the solution on longer?
Hi Lily! The spray can dry, but don’t leave it dry for hours. Spray on the vinegar solution, make sure the drops are semi big, and let that sit for a couple minutes. Then gently blot. Should come up easy!
Acetone will reconstitute the paint for a second try.
Any particular vinegar/water ratio?
Samuel Mercadante thanks for the comment! You can do 50/50!
Wanted to use in india pls how we get il in bulk*
this is great!...just wanted to feed back that the music volume is too high though, hard to hear your instructions!
Those are windows with 9 panes in each window.

work on your sound
My sounds is fine. However your manners could use some adjustments.
The background music is annoying and pointless.
