- Yeah…I made another iceberg. After swearing off them for good I’ve come crawling back. However, I return only because I feel like I have a fun, unique idea that no one has really done before. With this Iceberg, I’m going to be films that have never been seen by the public. Some films are just outright canceled, others become lost over time, and some are unseen by design. Today we explore what I call the Films You Will Never See Iceberg (chart made by me as usual).

When Frank Miller says "His Batman was going too far" I can't help but wonder what on earth was Aronofsky planning.
Probably the same thing Snyder wanted
It starts with prison and ends with ape
@@creed8712 Oh
@@creed8712 Prison Ape? That sounds badass, is that a new villain?
@@base4yrface prison ape, also known as Gorilla Grodd, sworn enemy of the Justice League
Seeing it was Aronofsky we can assume it meant everyone involved was mentally unstable, on drugs and the Joker had cancer.
Confidentially, a Studio Ghibli adaptation of Pippi Longstocking sounds like a great idea. Having the beautiful art of Miyazaki combined with a whimsical story of a girl with superhuman strength, a pet monkey, and a suitcase of gold; trying to live without parents, it just seems like a proto Kiki.
I don't blame Astrid Lindgren for protecting her creation after the first film adaptation, but it's a tragedy that this didn't happen.
I fully agree They would totally hit it out of the park I would kill to see him interpret pippi cause it’s such a great story by itself and Miyazaki would just make it way better
I wonder why she didnt allow it when there had just been a tv series two years earlier in sweden which did use child actors and is really well regarded
I have to agree with you, I would have loved to see Ghibli’s take on Pippi! I’ve seen a majority of the previous adaptations of the book and the closest to the actual stories was the original Swedish TV show/films that the author had a part in. Just based on the concept art alone, I think Ghibli would have knocked it out of the park and it might have honestly became the definitive film for the entire series.
@vanillagorilla3450
Does that mean Pippi Longstocking will show her F E E T...?
There are Swedish movie adaptations and they're perfect.
The foot fetish part took me completely off guard 💀

I respect a man who makes his own icebergs
💯💵💯💵💯
I don't have a problem with a person who uses other people icebergs. I mean they made them so other people can explain it
I once imagined a 1 second film as a kid. I just thought it would be funny, putting in a VHS, waiting for the previews and logos to run, and seeing a cartoon character say one word before everything goes to black.
We need an actual movie like that fr
It's kind of sad that movies that took a good amount a time and energy can just be left to the wayside, with some never to be seen again and at all. Also, good work making the iceberg, it must have taken a good amount of time to make it
Which is why it's better to be a freelancer rather than working at corporations.
I could be wrong but worth a shot.
I barely started this video but I've never heard of people getting mad at CZcamsrs for making videos about their own icebergs that's so crazy lmfao... 99% of iceberg videos have an entry that's just "yeah I have no idea what this entry is about sorry guys" why not avoid that entirely and just make your own iceberg
i watched one where the guy literally didn't know what *the first entry* was and didn't even bother to just google it, so yeah I agree
Or when they get facts wrong or clearly are reading from Wikipedia
It's why I could never follow something that has become a trend. Icebergs are cool but now every idiot thinks they can make one just putting a Wikipedia list together and calling it a day.
Can't believe you didn't include Goncharov. I'd do anything to watch that movie
Back to Tumblr, goblin.

Just disassociate and live it
Nobody knows what that is.
Sad to see that the movie "A Topiary" wasn't on this list. It's one of the most creative and intriguing sci-fi script I have ever read. It revolves around a group of kids who find a strange machine that produces small disk like objects. At first, the kids only use the disk to play games with each other, but soon learn how to make actual living creatures using the disk. By the end of the story, they are making huge dragon like beasts to use in fights between another group of people who are also making creatures using the disk. The script goes into mind blowing detail describing how the the disk works and how these creatures are made. I would literally do anything have a chance to see this script be adapted for the big screen. There is a pitch trailer for it out on youtube that I would highly recommend to go watch if you're interested.
Add The Modern Ocean to that list
Bro I love Monster Rancher
The cancellation of Snow White Returns had a lot to do with the fact that Walt Disney really didn't like sequels.
ironic...
Uncle Walt didn't want to water it down since it had the perfect ending, in great contrast with Eisner and Iger milking it to death with cheap direct to video or live action throwaway features.
I wish DreamWorks wouldn't have cancelled Me and my Shadow, it looked like a fun animated original movie.
I believe it has been revived under a different name
Didn’t know people disliked CZcamsrs making their own iceberg videos. I find it much better since it gives the creator control on what the entries are and the creator has more interest in them.
Nonetheless, good iceberg vid 🔥🔥
You make some of the best icebergs on the whole site, glad to see another one!!
Also dang, the Thomas-loving 8-year-old part of my brain subconsciously cried out when seeing Metro. I probably would have liked that movie if it existed.

Really appreciate this niche video that talks about film history, production, and the things that could have been. It always irks me a bit when articles/videos on Lost Media talk about films like these that were just straight-up never finished because there's such a different discussion to be had about films that ALMOST existed.
Your takes on film history are some of my favorite videos. This was a perfect iceberg video and if you do return to Icebergs (TM) more often, I think you making your own icebergs is a good decision that gives you more creative freedom and room to talk about what you want.
The way that Tarantino made his character in "My Best Friend's Birthday" have a foot fetish is pretty fucking hilarious tbh. Like, this dude probably wrote that thinking that audiences would look at that and say "Oh, that's just his character" whenever somebody brings it up.
Also, another fun fact about Dune: The score was (by the time the film was reaching the end of its lifespan) meant to have contributions from Pink Floyd.
I wish people accepted me for my foot fetish :( maybe when I'm a renowned filmmaker people will show me some respect, like I don't see what's so immoral about liking feet, they are the prettiest part of the human body, you can tell a lot about a person through their feet, not even kidding
@@AbrasiousProductions ….?😭

A lot of respect for making your own iceberg! Its a gray area for me when I see others use ice bergs because even if they do credit the creator, they are not sharing the revenue from the video so it seems a little unfair.... Of course, its even worse when other youtubers dont even credit the iceberg creator.
Also since he made the iceberg, he knows more about the topics, so we don't get any, "Look guys I have no idea what this means"
"Films you will never see" I would like to see the original idea of Cool World :/
THE THIRD ZELCHER PRODUCTIONS FILM ICEBREG!!!
THE THIRD ZELCHER PRODUCTIONS FILM ICEBERG IS REEEEAAAAAAAAAAL!!!!!
Batgirl will get leaked one day, I’d bet money on it.
Some kid of 4chan bet
At 50:00 there's a mistake. Milo Manara is 100% Italian he just happens to work for a lot of french publishers.
Yeah that’s my fault, should’ve double checked that. Thank you for the correction.
Monroe was calling in sick and had poor mental health due to severe chronic pain she had been living in her whole life. She suffered from endometriosis, an incurable chronic disease which ranks 10th in 20 most painful conditions. She didn’t just 0verd0se, she was in pain and was taking opioids to calm the pain at least a little, and went overboard as it still happens today to women and non-binary people suffering from endometriosis, adenomyosis etc. There is still no proper research financed and done and no affordable treatment options for endo. Most of the countries don’t even have doctors specializing in this disease. The only gold standard treatment is a proper excision surgery with a highly skilled specialist which will cost you minimum $30.000 out of pocket. And people stay on a wait list for decades sometimes, and lose precious time and internal organs as a result(endo can grow on any organ and tissue in the body, not only on reproductive organs). And then there’s a 30% chance it grows back with time. So, yeah, she wasn’t just some addict hollywood starlet. She suffered immensely.
My intention wasn’t to imply that Monroe was just a drug addict. I’m well aware that a lot of actresses in the past suffered at the hands of poor medical research and the Hollywood system, I’ve discussed this before in other videos. These iceberg videos sometimes require me to condense a lot information into a short segment and isn’t very helpful when talking about a serious topic like Monroe’s health and personal life. I stuck to the background of just that one unfinished film simply out of brevity, I’ll try to explain these topics better in the future.
It makes me sad how many of these unmade films sound like they could've been masterpieces
like that one with the street fight guy where he only had a couple of minutes of footage
It's been a while since i seen your content (I vaguely remember stopping by and subscribing after the dark film iceberg) but the production quality is really good, and it's great to have seen you grown since then. Nice video.
Chris Cunningham's zombie movie that he made for himself is something I'd love to see, if it actually exists.
For what it’s worth, nearly every creator that I’ve watched do iceberg videos has at some point said “this is my last iceberg video ever” before doing another one 😂😂 you guys need to realise that ppl like the format of iceberg videos so we want more
I dig your vibe bro, you’re like the chill nerdy guy that everyone’s cool with
He did it guys
great video again, I love your focus on more obscure and lesser-known movies and other interesting topics, I've always loved doing deep dives into media that never got much attention and your content always scratches that itch for me, keep making content about the things that interest you theyre always the most interesting! :)
With the Napoleon story, I can only imagine how gutted Kubrick must have been, I mean all his hard work went to waste. I believe MGM owned the rights to the Napoleon idea, so when Kubrick migrated to Warner Bros he couldn't finish Napoleon with them (I guess the closest we got was Barry Lyndon). Actually I think Napoleon falling through might have been part of the reason A Clockwork Orange was made on a low budget. That and 2001 going over budget and being a financial and box office disappointment, Kubrick made A Clockwork Orange on a low budget to prove he could.
Damn I remember watching the very first iceberg video and thinking your channel would go big. It’s nice to see how far you’ve gotten.
I always found this interesting. The original concept of movies that were gonna be made by high profile directors mainly.
I still feel for Antelope Don't Run No More
Hold up, I thought it was required for every iceberg video to include "a day with spongebob"
Took the risk of not including it and now the cops are after me. I’m typing this in the sewers.
I just wanted to say that I did look at your other content as a result of your very first iceberg video. I enjoyed them all very much and was very happy with the quality of your content. I hope you continue to do regular videos alongside your iceberg content because your commentary is incredibly entertaining and interesting to listen to.
So happy to have a new video of yours before Christmas. Great gift. Tysm
Love this channel! Definitely made my leisure time a lot more entertaining. I am looking forward to what film you're going to tackle next. Keep up the great work brother!
The fact I never got to see Dolly Parton voice a character in a Disney project makes me feel like I’ve been robbed
She was herself in Hannah Montana if you count that
@@chowdah9715 Oh I didn’t know that, I guess I can subside the feeling of being robbed for now
Oh, we'll get Batgirl. Make no mistake. I've been a DC Comics nut since the 1980s and there are a lot of us. If we can get the Snyder cut, we can get this.
I might've subscribed because of your Iceberg videos, but I really enjoyed your other videos as well, they're informative and entertaining as well!
can't wait to watch these you do the best icebergs

This is the type of good content that i use to replace the oxygen i breathe
Such a great iceberg. I liked the "behind the scenes" of why they were cancelled, along with the amount of facts and trivia.
Deepest Level: "Any movie a friend has recommended me."
What kind of stupid rule is "u cant make an explanation video about your own iceberg"? Why the heck not? "Noooo, you can't do twice the work and have a close control over the content and flow of the iceberg you're explaining, that would be... um... unfair?"
Say what you want about Tarantino, but he’s been dedicated to his foot fetish from the very beginning
God Tarantino is a good director but DAMN can he be a bit creepy sometimes
Love your channel so much. Always glad to see a new vid
Jodorowsky and Moebeus published the storyboards in "The Incal" apparently, so if you want to read the movie as a series of graphic novels then you can... just wish I could have seen a ten hour film of it...
genuinely a well-researched and put together video! I'd heard of a lot of these, if only off-handedly, because my dad's very interested in films (since he's a former cinema projectionist), but I hadn't heard of a lot if the entries either which is very refreshing. my favourite 'film you can't see' would be 'somewhere between heaven and woolworths' (1967), which afaik did get screened, it hasn't been shown in its entirety since and possibly doesn't even still exist in its entirety either, so whether it actually fits the definition or not idk
I don't think I ever realized that Satoshi Kon only made a few films. Tokyo Godfathers is one of my favorites
Merry Christmas pal, love your content👌
really enjoyed this! thanks for the work, ill def check out your main content!
Props on making your own iceberg!
Can't say I expected another iceberg, but hey glad to see it.

Dude those lnferno shots are so cool
Fantastic video. A new favourite.
I vaguely remember another Pippi Longstocking fllm way back when I was a kid. I remember seeing it in a local movie theater in the early to mid 1970's (the movie theater would have kids matinees every Saturday). Pretty sure it was a foreign film and it was dubbed...just like a ton of others they showed. I don't remember anything about it, other than the fact that it was pretty bad.
This man is keeping Iceberg videos alive
They should make an Iceberg Iceberg. From common Icebergs that people has seen or heared of to one that no one know existed.
Im happy he is tbh
That’s just so far from true. I’m only here because the algorithm apparently thinks I’m obsessed with iceberg videos, and tbh his aren’t anything remotely special. Reflected in the sub and view counts tbh

Actually, El Apóstol was the first animated movie. Walt Disney himself even wanted to work with Quirino Cristiani, but WWII happened.
Its also so funny how some/most things never change... most adults hate animation now and did back then lmfao crazy.
@@micahcook2408 it's not ok to generalize though. Remember that all animation is made by adults and a good portion of them also have a passion for it
@@Ekraelum Oh no I agree. My bad for coming off that way with that comment bc I actually love animation and wish adult animation wasnt just fart and sex jokes with static characters. I was just surprised that back in 1930s with how fresh (aka new) animation was back then, that there were adults who found it childish (ig perhaps bc comics/children's picture books at the time).
@@micahcook2408 yeah, I also wish adult animation actually centered itself on being geared towards adults than in juvenile humor only a handful of people will find funny. And half of those people are middle schoolers and highschoolers lol
@@scottneil1187 Lmfao of course I have hahaha again I’m an animation lover. All I was saying is that it was surprising to hear how a new medium was seen as childish back then as most/some see it now.

Could you PLEASE talk about the movie High Art? It's such an underrated indie film that I'm almost sure that no other CZcamsr has covered it. I think you might find it interesting to analyze

man, ghibli with pippi would have been amazing
And I can't imagine Korine being much of a tough guy. I'd bet it's closer to "Best Up Harm For Being Annoying"...
100 Years. A movie I'm glad I'll never see (seriously, those effects are going to age like milk) XD
One film I will never see is Gothicmade. The film hasn't been released and the director will likely never never release it. Its only shown in Japan with ad-hoc screenings whenever there is enough demand for it, and tickets are sold out really quickly and are meant to be crazy expensive. The fact is even if it is technically possbible to watch it 99.9% of people will never get that chance. Its a shame because its meant to have really good art.
I personally don't even want to die without watching GOTHICMADE first. I don't even have a bucket list, but *that* is something I really wanna watch
In the Splinter Cell video game Chaos Theory in the main menu there’s a trailer for the movie. Never came out but you can still watch a teaser on copies of the game.
My brother worked on the 1 second film. I actually saw it hella long ago. Hella wild I didn’t know they never released it. It just kinda went away as my bro moved on to other stuff.
You look like if Shigeru Miyamoto and Michael Reeves had a baby
So sad for Adil and Bilal. Those guys deserved a lot better
Trains looked interesting but I think they cancelled it because Planes did so bad.
good video bro
Its really upsetting about Kon because Perfect Blue is my favourite movie of all time…
With every video we watch here in on any other website we’re all recorded as some sort of film media material so the fact that none of us are uploaded and/or interconnected into the thing that we are all equally a part of it the very least while being a part of this video it kind of shocked me❤
Yo zelcher, I don't know if ya take requests or something but can you take a look at a film called unicorn wars?
I actually would've been cool with that Roger Rabbit prequel. It involved Rodger rescuing Jessica from N@zis! Who _wouldn't_ wanna see someone like Roger make a fool out of a bunch of N@zis? (Aside from Spielberg)
IIRC another reason the movie was cancelled because Spielberg dislike the idea of portraying Nazis as cartoon villians

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who isn't a huge Disney fan. I just didn't like that all the movies had some underlying tragic aspect to it, I always wanted my cartoons to be either really funny and silly or maybe even spooky, but in a fun way. If I want a tragic story, I'll just read a German fairy tale
