Is he actually trying to argue that the EU has benefited the UK fishing grounds?! This kid is deluded.

The bottom line is that we Brits do not elect and cannot remove 90% of those who govern us. If that isn't undemocratic then I don't know what is.

***** I think that you are confusing the issue of who makes UK law with numbers of MEPs. Only 10% of them are Brits. We do not elect and cannot remove the other 90%. As for law, even Gordon Brown admitted that over 50% of UK legislation is originating in the EU. The real figure is around 75%, but it depends upon what you base your conclusions on. For example, "directives" are simply disguised law, some stats are based only on "primary" legislation, and so on. The fact remains that we did not vote for either of these scenarios. The opposite is true in that we are actually being denied a vote, the entire future of the UK being decided by an arrogant and out-of-touch political "elite". An increasing number resent and reject this, hence the steady rise of UKIP.

*WHAT?* The EU helped to create Poland's democracy??? Mr Goldstein... you don't have a clue. I lived in Poland between 1996 and 1999 and Poland was ALREADY very much a democracy. That's eight years *before* it even joined the EU, Mr Goldstein! And for your information, the majority of 'people' in Poland would today - given the chance - choose to leave the EU!

What problem do you have with his name? Are you a filthy, disgusting anti-semite? If not, what does your comment mean exactly? I disagree with this speaker on most things as I think the EU is anti-democratic and it was good for Britain to leave, but my issue is with his arguments. What kind of fucking idiot would I be if my issue was with his name (code for his Judaism and all the anti-semitic cliches (globalist blah blah bullshit).
