      Looks to be the same as every router.
      Assuming it's compatible with your modem, you'd have to set that up in bridge mode, plug in the router and connect it to the modem.
      Then it's a matter of basic setup. Creating the Wi-Fi Access Point name/password, etc.

    • @trayhdz7035
      @trayhdz7035 Před rokem

      no monthly fees for your own wifi im pretty sure only when you go to company's that provide wifi like spectrum then yes but when you get your own router and modem you don't pay monthly fees because it doesn't require a provider just set up the wifi on your own and you're good to go

    • @trayhdz7035
      @trayhdz7035 Před rokem

      @@weebmatic okay so I was kidding but I couldn't find my comment I lost the video I commented on but you do need a internet service provider and you have some confusion going on. You need a modem which usually the service provides for you and a router too but you can buy your own router, and your answer is no, it does not. You have ethernet cables that you're supposed to connect to the modem then the other to the router. It will not automatically detect at all without an ethernet cable and a modem. A modem is what gives the wifi, and a router is what sends wifi from the modem into wifi signals way better than the modem can sending a larger wider connection that let's say without a router you can only reach the wifi signals maximum 50 ft. Well with the router you can reach 200 ft maximum and you'll still be connected to the wifi

    • @trayhdz7035
      @trayhdz7035 Před rokem +3

      @@weebmatic also if you want one right next to your pc if you want the wifi all to yourself, you should probably resort to ethernet. And all you need is a modem not a router. You're not trying to give wifi to whoever else needs it. Have the modem and connect it to an outlet near you depending which one you have, connect an ethernet cable to the back of it, then connect the other one to your pc which should have one ethernet connecter spot on it. That will give you the full potential of your wifi and you'll be reaching the highest speeds.

    • @adreiiaii510
      @adreiiaii510 Před 5 dny

      Ping is dependent on where you live and how far away the server you're connecting to is.
      Ping has essentially nothing to do with your router.
      0 ping would mean the server is pretty much right next to your computer (i.e. LAN).
