Mega Man Revolution Remix Preview - Random Boss Previews (1?)

- ... depending on what people want to see, this may be the first of a few 'Boss previews.'
The selection is rather arbitrary (It's in the video name!), but it is a mix of unseen remade bosses, a updated previously seen boss and one that is entirely new to Revolution Remix compared to OG.
Life continues to say "no" to all my plans, and a recent incident involving a close family member is leading me to... well, turn off most social media such as Discord, and am only using it to contact close friends or boyfriend. It's also likely I won't get anything else out this year (or even returning to Discord) and I'm considering the rest of the year a wash.
I'll probably respond to comments on this video for a bit though.

One of these days I'll actually be able to use the not.... exactly cheap.. microphone I brought a while ago... but hey life says no. :V
Something I have learned about showcasing bosses in projects I'm involved with is - don't play too well and certainly don't try going for no damage runs. So I didn't, although when you add a few intentional damage hits for showcasing purposes that can start things spiralling in recording.

Holy moly, I did *not* know that! This changes everything - it's not just a simple remake or a tribute to the original anymore, it's something much, _much_ more.
Oh cool, one of the changes for Reaperbot I suggested back when the rework was first revealed was added. Though I wouldn't be surprised if I was far from the first to recommend the warning for the lightning bolt attack.
I'm really glad Reaperbot is now more challenging than his original. He only has one attack before and it is so easy to dodge. He was also weak to Saw Man's weapon as well.
In fact, almost all of the fortress bosses in the original share the same weakness and that is from Saw Man.
"Weirdly, that leaves little to say." He says about the boss running her voice box on overdrive.
Really cool to see some more previews, especially of some bosses we've never seen before (outside of Mike's rather insane all bosses at once video) such as updated Storm Woman and Kraken G.
Really hope things go well for you ACE. It may be rough, but hopefully you can keep pressing onward. I believe in you.
And of course, Merry Christmas
There will still be a NETA+ mode like that video but with all bosses in the entire game and not just ones that were finished at the time. Even if we have to make some break where they just stand there doing nothing.

the kraken g boss looked a lot like the final boss of sparkster for the gen, you know the lizard king great work all who are working on the project
I don't think that was intentionally, but ACE and I are fans of Sparkster.

I would be lying if I claimed I was _completely patiently_ anticipating Revo Remix, but it's a joy to see the project take shape this well, and a honor to have contributed to it in any way shape or form. Things now also exploding into shrapnel is pretty neat too, and Storm Woman's custom death gives me life.
I didn't know it was such a common question why Storm and Pyre got 63'd. Ace gave the overall answer already, but I can shed some light on why I myself opted to genderswap Storm in the first place: Since Storm Man was stated to tell ridiculously tall tales, I figured "Genies are powerful air beings, let's model Storm after that and give him something to brag about". Genderswapping him got that creative spriting process going right away, and I never looked back. In hindsight, I probably also could have accomplished "genie" in a couple of non-genderswap ways (which might have made the redesign more unique) but this still paid off, especially after the extra thought and work by some of Sprites' Inc's other spriters.
I honestly would've voted higher for a female entry, as long as it was appropriate, than the same male equivalent.

Two things I've been curious about is there a way to change the healthbar sound back to the classic one and are custom intros/death animations able to be turned off?

The sound effect actually originates from Castlevania III, if I remember correctly, hence the addition of it here.
Ya it's the sound a lot of the bosses make in CV3 when they die. lol I felt it would more effectively convey that Reaperbot hates his old job so much that he just dies when he ends up back with it.
I don't get it. Is "janitorbot" a reference to something?
He was originally a janitor that Wily made and then decided one day to upgrade into a grim reaper type robot just because Wily.

Some of the Mega man Fan games that are Really Amazing gives me a good idea for A Fan project for a Mega man Fan comic however I Couldn't came up with a good name, But The Five Robot Masters along with the Three Robot Mistress's I got good ideas for Naming Them
As You Didn't Notice, The Eight Robots Where Created by Dr Lalinde, However The Robots got Kidnapped (Except Quake Woman) By Someone's Creation and Reprogram by Someone instead of Dr Wily Because Dr Wily got Framed for a Crime

Same bro back in quarantine I had COVID so I would just lay down all day thinking about a Megaman fan comic unfortunately I scrapped it up into my own original manga
