- Beautiful Southern California in the Mojave Desert, with vistas as far as the eye can see and San Jacinto and San Gorgonio snow-covered peaks to orient us on our hikes. Two weeks of slow travel through this desert gave us a much needed sense of rejuvenation and wellness. We hiked over 125km through the many wilderness preserves, municipal trails, and of course, Joshua Tree National Park.
