Thanks for the comparison. I'll probably go with the brushless although I like how the brushed model is servicable. My brushed dewalt hammer drill is on it's second set of brushes and it's about 8 years old.
It will be interesting to see how long this tool lasts, my older units are still going strong
I should have waited longer for this to come out but a year ago at the time I needed to buy one to get a job done in my house all that was available was the older model. I also made the mistake of getting the old Dewalt screwgun only to find out a new model came out this year. They both work great so I can't be too disappointed. I'm glad Dewalt keeps trying to improve on the next gen line up of their tools. For the most part they do a good job at that.
Unfortunately they will always be coming out with better models just as we buy the old ones. You have yourself a great couple of tools.
I did just get the new screw gun and it is definitely really nice to use. Huge improvement
Thx for watching
I can’t believe how thin the grip is 😦 that’s amazing
How does this compare to the Milwaukee router?
Been looking at buying something like this but I have a question.
Quite often I have to cut through up to double boarded drywall and plywood. Can it cut through something like that?
How expensive are new bits when you have to replace them
How good is it with the 1/4 bit? I’d be using it for cutting round window and door openings
It’s only for drywall, 1/8 bit. Works great for that. But if your cutting wood, then you would want a router
Any good for cutting out access holes in plywood?
Definitely not, go with a wood router instead.
What surprised me is how the old version was shown caked with drywall dust. I am curious about the internal gears?
I’ve had the old version for years. I got it when it first came out, never had an issue with it. And it’s seen a lot of drywall. They definitely get caked in dust
Every power tool that’s being used to cut sheet rock is going to have dust on it son it’s called using your tool
Can it cut wood ? For waffer lights?
No not wood, you would want to get a router or better yet a holesaw.
Hello Brad and Tiffany, could you help take a video of our cooler backpack and upload it to your Amazon influencer page? 😀
My boss bought one of these and it got its ass kicked by him, trying to cut some ceiling 🤣🤣🤣
lol, it does take some practice
I just use my existing dewalt router, and it makes this look like a childs toy.
What size bit are you using? The great thing about the drywall tool is the bits are only 1/8 in diameter.
Well one is a router, and one is a drywall cutout tool...
Definitely cant go all day with a 1.7ah😂
Lol probably not. We can hope
