- Open A-Class lobbies are finally here in Forza Motorsport! Unfortunately it does come with a series of issues, whereby players either by accident using a car they shouldn't be using or intentionally bring a car they shouldn't be using. But when you are in a lobby where A-Class does happen, the racing is fantastic!

That last race was really cool, the S2k faster in the straights but you always had a chance to pass on corners. Really clean racing by both
Yeah, the exit corner speed from the r32 was much more faster than the s2k

Normally the S2K would be faster in the corners, but I suspect the rain meant he can't put the power down as well as the GTR can with its AWD system.

My man great race I was surprised how well your r32 handled considering my s2000 is race weight and wet race tire also the rwd was hard to take in the turns

It`s better to start from behind. Normaly I start in the top ten and end on 15th to 20th. Yesterday I quit the quali and starting from the last place. End the race on 4th place.
If you start at midfield you have no chance. And the penalties a joke. Saw a guy with 9 seconds on the third place. While I`m safety S and find me allways besides the track getting hitted in the back.
I always loved baiting out the griefers and sending them into the shadowrealm as a front runner lol
2:25 I’m curious how the hell you got a penalty for being slightly off track whereas the guy in front of you went a full car length off course and got nothing…
EDIT: It's explained that it's due to the time saved and lost by each respective player for going offroad, which is very reasonable.
Because the penalty system is absolute dog shit.

That was like at least two car lengths off in terms of width, and was off track for probably five lengths. Wild
because the corvette lost control but ISAD just drifted over with no oversteer so the game doesn't register the OOB the same way. It's really shitty, sometimes you can get +1 second penalties for being a bee's dick over the line around corners like the degnars or 130r

Wonderful race vs the S2000! I thought your smooth driving that resulted in little tire wear would have given you the win, but his straight line speed was too much. Great driving :D

I'm surprised on that S2000's tune. Usually you would want it tuned for grip and not straight line since corners is where it thrives

This game sounds like you're constantly in a tunnel. Reverb everywhere...
If you hold the clutch a split second longer it won’t miss shift like it does. I figured that out after like 10 races lol it’s not like the old forza where you can blip the clutch. On this game it takes a second for the gear to be selected then you release the clutch. You are essentially just changing your gears without the clutch atm and that’s why the gear change is so slow and hits the limiter
The last race had me at the edge of my seat, you both raced super well!

Used to race with chronic years ago on fm4, Matt I think his name is if I remember right. Build him a fwd Kia ceed in A class and he used dominate in it. Glad to see he is still a Forza fan. I'm back on Forza Motorsport for the first time since fm4, and really enjoying it.

Man reading this really gets me a bit. FM4 was the last one, except FH here and there, but these got out of hand for me. Not that interested. But even if the game has its Problems, i should give it a go. Since it is on Gamepass... A little Starfield Break.
That’s the other fast chronic I’ve raced with him for years but seems he’s given up on Forza I have him on my fr his names yzf r6 now I think he’s been playing ride 5 but man I remember that Kia it was fast with the 1.6L swap and short shifting haha
@@chronic2997 yeah I remember he changed it to that now you mention it. Yeah he used to get all his leaderboard tunes from me and was in AGM with me and RZR. Unfortunately I went to ps4 once I played fm5 and lost contact with all the people I used to race with. Good old days for sure.

First race you get 1.6 penalty for off tracks and the guy in the vet gets nothing even though he clearly ran further off than you at least twice, it feels kinda random with penalties.

2:18 This pisses me off, ISAD goes about a foot off-track for about half a second and gets a .6 second penalty, but the C8 in front of him goes FURTHER off the track for even longer and doesn't get a penalty at all? What the fuck?
ISAD gained time with his off track so he got a penalty. The other guy lost time going off track so he didn't get a penalty. Simple as that but today the majority is just plain dumb and stupid. Enjoy.

honestly for it being a rain race that s2000 did VERY well, if he took the apex later he'd have a better line which would allow for a faster exit
This game looks quite incredible, especially on multiplayer
I remember doing a "hatchback only - PP400" race (mostly small Honda Civic type cars) in a Gran Turismo game, with a Doge Viper!!! I added weight and reduced breaking and downforce to reduce the car's "Performance Points" so it could qualify for the race!!!! All allowed by the game! Maybe that's what they did here!!!

Omg I just pissed myself laughing, the dudes in the Ferraris I’m friends with, they saw this and told me to come check it out and I had to check it out. I found out the bug is if you jump into an A class race and don’t select a car it throws you in the Cadillac or whatever car is on your garage home screen

wow, that formula mazda was quite a surprise to see on the opening lap. it's not even the carbon chassis FM, it's the old type that used leftover formula ford tube frames and carbureted 13B wankels. cool! also, lol.
Like every race I start in the top ten and end the race on 15 to 20.
They hit you from behind, cut corners and ending in top ten. I get a penalty for slightly cutting a corner and they get nothing for ramming other players off the track.
Saw a guy yesterday with a 9 second penalty on the 3rd place. Penalty system is a bad joke.
Wait I thought if you had 5s penalty and got another one you would get DNF

Gran Tourismo system is better. Slowing lines on the course way more effektive than this.
I saw guys rammed into multiple cars without any penalties. At the end he got 0.5 seconds. That's a joke.
@@Standgedicht Yeah, but keep in mind, GT's penalty system was completely fucked at the beginning, and kinda still is here and there, but both of the systems are using machine learning, so they get better with time
The GT way of handling penalties (slowing down the cars) is nice in race, but is kinda immersion breaking and not realistic at all, also, with a 5 second penalty, you lose 10 seconds because you slow down, and have to get back up to speed
I like the real version of a time penalty much more since if you get a penalty, you can drive better to make up for lost time, while in GT, you're just fucked
In that last race, (I think it was a S2000) It seemed she probably had max weight reduction and countered it with wet tires or max downforce to keep that torque in check!!!

EZT Chronic if you see this good race brother. ISAD you could have defended on that final straight harder i don’t think anyone would have had anything wrong with a little angling
I wouldn't call my self a progamer, but i think that maybe(just maybe) if you utilized the low-end torq of the skyline more, you might have a better chance of winning. maybe in this game it doesn't work like that, but i was just using my experience from my past. Great game, it was exciting to watch.

@@flurpoid ehhhhh. There's no way it could be that much difference. Like the s2k was leaving ISAD behind in the straights but also had good handling as well. The biggest reason ISAD was keeping up was the grip from the r32 having AWD in the rain. If it wasn't raining I'm sure the s2k would've made the gap bigger and bigger

Yes I had loads of R class in my race
The out of track rules need update, or get better handlings in corner, and check bugs, because i found numerous times, that i want to turn left or right and car just want to go straight, and dont cares with any effort to turn it. No the wheels wasn't locked, the brake was already released, yet the car just went straight out. Worse thing when turns the opposite way the car, not where we intend to go.
A class was weird, I had to make my evo x rwd to be competitive😂 I wish they would give us atleast 2 open class hoppers at a time so we had options other than spec racing. Like we got C class last time which isn’t the end of the world but I have plenty of cars I’d like to test against something other than the terrible ai but if we get the wrong class I’m SOL for the week. I hope they have more good changes and more gt3 cars coming soon
Got use those brakes for rotation! You’ve got a heavier vehicle so those late brakes were killing your exit speed

U are still using the old manual with clutch technich, but I heard that's actually no longer faster than just regular, manual shifting.

I like Forza and GT as I have played the shit out of both, this is not surprising. Forza is for your casual racers. GT has shitty drivers, but for the most part people play the game for a realistic racing experience as I do. Motorsport 8 is fun, and casual. Nothing to take seriously hence why the playerbase is how it is

Has anyone here noticed that the Lexus LFA is absent from the game? Most likely to be re-released as paid dlc by T10 as usual.
The LFA is in the game, it’s a locked car you unlock for finishing a chapter in the Campaign

Hate how the cars look like there a layer of vaseline on them during the day especially when you view your car in the home space. I know it suppose to mimic the reflections of the light of day but it's done poorly. But even though this game has all kinds of issues and it's broken, I'm still enjoying it.
