The last lead is awesome, way to figure it out Alex, it does make sense. It’s like the lead in “under the sun”, Tony did that in the early days, I think it’s an old English folk context.

What string gauge do you prefer for C Sharp Standard? Im taking my Gibson SG to my local guitar doctor to be set up to C Sharp standard with Power Slinkys. I have an Epiphone Explorer set up for D Standard with Power Slinkys. Hopefully Power Slinkys will work for C Sharp standard as well.

ive only heard one live recording of this song and it was bootleg.
my guess is because it is a difficult song for the singer.. which of course was ozzy.
go ahead and try and belt out the lyrics at studio pitch without your voice cracking or without literally hollering the words.
metallicas james het tried it with geezer playing base and he butchered it. admitting afterward that it was hard as hell
