Sweet moves ! I’m 55 years old and grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin-I went to public schools my whole life and in 1975-76 they started busing. Talk about culture shock for a 1st grader! lol- The first few years were filled with fighting on both sides due to prejudice but as we grew up if we fought it was just because we were young and stupid. The black girls in grade school loved my love strait hair and would braid it often….then they taught me how to double Dutch like a mofo! In high school the halls of our school looked like something out of a movie…Beat Street maybe- break dancing up and down it and in the lunchroom…..blacks , whites,Asians and Latinos all getting their move on teaching and learning from one another. I miss those days! Remember my brothers and sisters-just as beauty is only skin deep so is color! We all laugh , cry ,feel sorrow and remorse. Hi Blyet, therein lies the problem. Gangs and criminality don't have to go hand-in-hand. You can have a connected sense of camaraderie without committing senseless, petty crimes. Nobody is worth going to prison over...or for.

Violence, maybe interspersed with racism, and international-grade 'tear and loot' mentality.
That's the irony, the way everybody has a philosophical opinion on the persons involved in the 'criminal street gangs', but apparently disproportionately so, versus the "legal" gangs in the policing force, and the military divisions/organizations.
It's just...peculiar nobody in most of the street gangs thought of the formality and propaganda, such as making up a law and drafting legislation, then applying the rigour of explicit uniform, terminology, 'conduct' and practice/authority structure.
It's no real difference overall by unbiased perspective, it's just the street gangs (the criminal ones) seem to be more overt and upfront about their forceful ways, than the 'legal' gangs profess or admit to with themselves.
