Hello everyone, good viewingđŒ
I would buy one of these in like 2024 when they get cheaper (I hopeđł)
Hello I am a big fan and Iâm called Phoenix and Iâm 10 can I have a response!
Probably not
This convinced me that the switch pro controller needs an all white version, because that controller looks so nice!
That controller is for the switch, it's sold by Gulipro or something it's the same name as the one in the video I got mine in black
I have an all white pro controller. Got it at target.
White is a nasty color for joycons and controllers, over time the sweat and oil from your hands will discolor the white. It won't be instant, maybe in 6 months to 2 years.
Omg! Eowna I didn't expect to see you here. Love your videos!
Shame it looks like an xbox controller nintendo have different location of the buttons that's a straight xbox copy even the letter on the buttons are xbox
i like the lights under the joycon control sticks. that's what stood out to me the most. it really is a nice looking console.
Hello, congratulations you're been selected as great winner. Quick send a direct message to acknowledge your prize. Thank you đđđđ^^^^^^
The biggest advantage the Aya Air has over the steam deck, is the steam deck isn't available in all countries and regions to buy, and this should be, so people have the option to get this.
Wait It's not?
@@JmKrokY it just became available in Asia, but it's not available in Australia or New Zealand
I seen prices going down on EBay for once. Any Deck buyers that received it and decided its not for them are going to sell it cheaper than the scalpers.
True Steam Deck is not available in the whole Middle East and Africa yet and the major parts of Asia.
Exactly. Steam let Brazil out. AYANEO didnât, as consequence they have a pretty good market here.
Honestly the design is pretty nice looking, and damn that controller looks so sleek. Love the white on the console and controller too.
I prefer the black variant though.
@@Machodave2020 no you donât

Seconded!
Yessir!
Iâm in the same boat, i EXCLUSIVELY play portably now. So much so that i donât touch my ps4 anymore, iâm entirely on the switch. I dreamt of having the yakuza series being portable and working well⊠but with options like the aya neo & steam deck i can have that! Love this new generation of portable gaming, itâs INSANE!
That sounds just fun asf. Playing yakuza portable. Sometimes cinematics are too long but it you can chill them more on a couch lol
Hmm... I'd still go with the Steam Deck. This is more expensive and looks like it performs worse. The only thing going for it is the OLED screen. Plus I think the Steam Deck will last longer, with it's powerful hardware and Valve's continued support.
Plus I'm not sure how to feel about Aya Neo. They release a new console every 6 months, which makes me question their dedication to support in the long run. And they were WAY too expensive, and probably only brought the price down on this new one because of the Steam Deck.
Edit: Should probably finish watching the video before writing a comment because you said pretty much everything I said haha.
Aya air performs better than the steam deck
@@Prodbytocile you got any evidence to back that up? And don't tell me to "just look it up". Cause I have, and everything is saying otherwise
The main thing for me is that Steam doesn't seem to be acceptable in my country (New Zealand). Otherwise I would have considered purchasing one instead of upgrading my Switch Lite XD
@@likepocketsjingling Same. I'm a fellow Kiwi, and I have Aussie friends who are also interested. So something like Aya Neo peaked my interest. But given how successful the Steam Deck has been, and how much Valve has shown interest in moving to NZ, I don't think we'll have to wait too long (hopefully not as long as the Valve Index at least). So I'd rather wait
@@Pieall1 i believe it has a stronger cpu but a weaker igpu but it probably won't make much of a difference and only in heavy cpu games which would probably benefit heavily from the steam decks input options
You know it's cool is that I knew you'd do a video today! You're one of my favorite people on CZcams keep up the great content
How do you sleep at night you fake beatemups
Making a portable smaller sounds pretty appealing but with the sacrifices to performance/battery/and thermals it makes you understand why Valve went the direction they did. It's a beautiful device but I'll be sticking with the deck for now
Faaacts like it looks really cool but the sacrifices to me just not worth it
@@mugenjin7190 + the price tag
@@lllllll5990 Especially that
what does a steam deck cost?
@@knivesoutcatchdamouse2137 cheapest is 399 but all the steam Deck has the same performance just difference disk size, and is a lot more powerful than this device and cheaper.
Wood! Thanks for reviewing this and introducing me to a new controller (I know you were mainly focusing on the mini streamdeck, but still)! I had never heard of it and I was looking for something like that because believe it or not, my pro controller/joycons all HAVE STICK DRIFT, so finding a controller that addresses that problem is exactly what I needed especially when it's got gyroscope capabilities too! (I play splatoon, so I need gyro and sticks with no drift of course.)
I know, right?! That white was SO sleek and classy. I'm definitely trying it out.
Just started the video and already know it going to be a quality video much love to wood
The keyboard is the Air75 and it made by Nuphy and offered in those custom colors for Aye Neo. I use the regular Air75 as my daily driver and I absolutely love it.
Thank you, I was way more interested in the keyboard
Thank you for making these videos they've been helping me be less stressful with moving
The keyboard was a custom colorway of a Nuphy Air 75 keyboard, and it does look super nice.

I see many still have misconception on how stick drift occur. Hall effect joystick will and WILL have stick drift, it still have moving parts, inside of it is plastic, those plastic will worn out over time. Hall effect joystick are just last longer than usual potentiometer joystick.
Yeah, it will worn out over time, but it should not happen after you used the controller or sticks for the first time.

It's cool that there's steam deck competitors! I looked at these and the prices are ridiculous. at least $500 doesn't seem so bad.
Yeah valve can take the hit if they sell them as a loss cuz they make money through steam.
They are like 800,000 dollars
One of my favorite CZcamsrs thanks for covering the Ayo Neo
I love this video style!
YES!!!!! Wood uploaded!!
Just to note Gulikit also makes joystick replacements for the Steam Deck. I saw LTT install it not too long ago and recently picked me up a pair.
Hello, congratulations you're been selected as great winner. Quick send a direct message to acknowledge your prize. Thank you đđđđ^^^^^^
do they make them for joycons too? đ
@@valmurray9632 So they have joystick replacements for their Elves controller that's also compatible with the Switch and Switch lite but they do not have the Hall Effect Sensing mechanism in it. FYI for anyone reading the tech that gulikit has implemented that has zero joystick drift is called Hall Effect Sensor vs potentiometer which is what is in everyday controllers.
Good news though is that Gulikit is actively working on a hall effect sensing version for the switch joycons. This is based on their twitter posts -> twitter.com/GuliKitDesign/status/1537358098314055680?s=20&t=em48cT6wIA8wPzbHyCRuFg
Another FYI for anyone wishing to know why Hall Effect Sensors don't have drift and why potentiometers do. Here's a video from ifixit covering it -> czcams.com/video/JluAuIJ-tSY/video.html
You can always count on LTT!
love your videos bro
I pre-ordered this a few weeks ago and it ships this week đ
Did you have to pay any fees
Noice
I'm so jealous.
Another great vid đđ
it was between this or stem deck for me but i got my email from steam and this was double the price so i went with the deck
Good choice. I'm still waiting on my email, but I can't lie, this is a tempting device. The small size and OLED, make it for me. The price of the one I'd actually want doesn't.
I just got a Steam Deck about a month ago and I love the device in nearly every way, except for the fact that it's almost too big (too wide to be precise) and definitely a bit too heavy for optimal comfort when playing it, say, laying down at night. At least, the weight is not optimal for me. So, I'm now considering getting an Aya Neo Air Pro model (probably with the 5525U) and then I may or may not keep the Steam Deck thereafter. I'm having trouble seeing why I would "need" both. Money is not endless, but I would like to be able to access the other features of a gaming handheld via Windows instead of through only SteamOS. And I'd definitely like it to have a 1080p OLED display! That is why I'm willing to spend the extra money and then consider getting rid of the steam deck. Anyone else feel this way?
So happy to see you uploading after that tweet. I had a bad anxiety attack in the middle of the mall yesterday and ugly cried the whole time. Then I saw your thumbnail, I thought ah if Beatemups can, Iâll be alright too. Also price of Aya Neo Air is so expensive in my currency. Itâs such a perfect device for me. If it runs windows does it mean I can use and play the Xbox Game pass games?
DUDE!! I literally decided this week I'm going to buy one of these and the second i finished Bob's video, i see you made one too??? It's a sign. I have to have this thing.

I really love the King Kong 2, and if it were able to use with my Xbox it would probably be my default controller for everything, the Hall Effect joysticks are definitely not a new magnet technology though lol. They were used in a lot of old consoles back in the day including the Dreamcast and even the Saturn 3D. Honestly it's not even really a more expensive or space consuming option so it's RIDICULOUS that stick drift is even a thing people need to concern themselves with in the 2020's. Not that I've personally ever had any particularly serious drift issues with controllers, maybe that's just a bit of luck though.
you just need a brooks converter, at this point im considering getting one for my playstation, but im hoping gulikit comes out with a controller that has remappable back buttons
idk why i love the lights inside the joysticks too much, but i do
As per usual, you are a ray of sunshine, easily my favorite youtuber
this is honestly so freaking impressive

looks sick!! wish I could buy one!!! đ
buy a steam deck,it costs 500 and is better
I hope the switch 2 is gonna have the power of a ayo neo pro or steam deck. Imagine how good Nintendo's first party games will look. Especially cause basically each game would be 60fps and so much more detail could go in their worlds.
We could finally have a 3d pokemon game with actual good environment graphics, they focus on the character models and call it a day.
Would be cool but going off previously released Nintendo consoles it might not be that graphically impressive, but you never know we will have to wait and see
@@therunawaykid6523 honestly I would expect at least base PS4 graphic quality and a way better cpu and for ram I'd expect 8 gb or 12 gb and maybe 16 gb.
@@MonoDree that's not the switchs fault. That's just the pokemon company. Like if Pokemon was made by Nintendo you already know the quality would be top notch.
Lmao Imagine Nintendo caring about performance.
Aya Neo's advancements are thanks to how much progress AMD have been making with their APUs.
I LOVE playing The Witcher 3 on my Switch Lite on the go and on my OLED when I got that one. It is a power house of a game that's been shrunk down to a Switch. Being able to play it with even slightly better graphics and frame rate is a plus to me
Hello, congratulations you're been selected as great winner. Quick send a direct message to acknowledge your prize. Thank you đđ^^^^^^
BeatEmUps, as allways a great video, great content that you make, thank you ! :) keep that going you are doing great !
You should lower the resolution to 720p for the games and use FSR to upscale to 1080p. The 8 watt mode should be able to handle 720p at decent frame rates. The 12w mode will drain that tiny battery extremely fast, probably last less than an hour in a game like Elden Ring. Honestly 1080p on a screen that small is kinda overkill and it takes a huge performance hit, but being able to use FSR at least makes the 1080p screen useable in games.
Nice Part. I have buy the AyaNeo Air Pro Aurora White with 16GB and 512 SSD. I Love the OLED Screen so much! Before i have the SD but its to closed...đ

This is great. But this is still a starting point. The have found a solution to a majority of their issues. However they now have to find a way to get better battery life, better quality sound, and better balance for performance. Once thatâs done theyâll have something thatâll be a contender against Nintendo and Steam. I have one question though does it do Bluetooth?
Bookmarking this though
Yes
Absolutely loved this review...I almost was soled on it...Until the battery life...yea 45 mins on Elden Ring kinda did it for me lol. As usual brother amazing review. This is definitely something I've been looking for tho, so proud to see it on the market making it a place among its competitors!

That Gulikit controller is so close to being perfect. It just needs rear input buttons, and it would have it all. They came so close and then stopped short. One day I'll find the perfect controller.
my thoughts exactly.
Really love the video but wanted to point out one thing, hall effect joysticks are not a new technology. Sega was using it on the Dreamcast and Saturn in the 90s. For whatever reason, Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo just never picked it up. You can actually buy hall effect joysticks for the Steamdeck and they're not that hard to replace.
Please do a detailed review of the Gulikit Kingkong pro 2 controller pleaaassseee!
tbh this is something for people who want a small handheld and don't expect to get over 30 (or 60) fps, tbh I really love what they did with it you can tell they didn't just release a handheld pc installed windows and just called it a day in hope to compete with the steam deck they put love and care into it and really tried to compete, if you don't wanna wait for a handheld pc and don't really mind having 30 or under fps on AAA games or just hate steam I'd say it's worth it.
I'm never gonna get this but it's cool to see
