I almost feel like the ultimate power rangers team would still require Billy, not necessarily in a ranger suit, but his technical expertise were invaluable to the mighty morphin and Zeo rangers.
I feel that's where Billy shines brightest. However, there were others who MIGHT be even better. (David Yost setting the bar high)
Agreed, though TSR put forward a strong argument for Sky.
The brains of the team? I don't blame ya, I too would include Billy on my ranger team any day.
Cam’s technical expertise is also one of the best he designed the megazord and was one of the best 6th rangers
This is a great list, but somehow I feel that if they were all on a team they wouldn't really work well together.
I agree. A lot of their personalities are too similar or too dominant.
That's why you just have them come together for a specific mission, like the forever red mission. I think then could work well enough together in the short term. They are dl some of the most duty oriented rangers as well.
most of them were leaders or second in command, so imagine they would clash a bit.
The conflict would make a show with these characters more interesting rather than them just being badasses 24/7. How else are they gonna learn and grow? Plus, a lot of these characters had to learn how to be followers as part of their character growth, so I don't see it being too much of an issue.
Dylan and Taylor got authority problems and most likely be like the Wild Force crossover
This would be a fun watch, I could just imagine them all disagreeing, then Tommy and Jason just watching

Too true. Tommy and Jason had worked out any differences long ago. If it went with as current a time stamp as possible with the actors, then they would have some problems when they first met, all thinking they knew better, except for Dillon who would just be mission focused and moving on without the team.
It would be interesting if Jason and Tommy had Master Morphers in this scenario, too, instead of just being limited to the coins listed above.

Technically, the Quantum Ranger was the 6th Ranger of his series, not the Red, even if he was included in Forever Red.
The Quantum Ranger tended to be rather acerbic while the Time Force Rangers were in town (though he changed after they went back to the future). Since Red is the leader for all teams, except for when Tommy was White, the early Quantum Ranger would not be a good Red pick. Maybe later after he's become a better team player it might work out.
@@Charistoph do I have to explain it? I said I'll make a team from Auxiliary / 6th rangers, so anyone I could think of being their leader could either be Quantum Ranger or Wolf Warrior cuz they're both red but not one of the core members of the team.
I didn't choose Eric as the leader cuz he's not one of the Team Leaders like the main red rangers of the core members of any team, I picked him because he's a 6th ranger. Because I'm making a team from Auxiliary or 6th rangers.
@@GinoongVince, you still didn't answer as to the fact that for some time the Quantum Ranger really doesn't become much of a team leader for some time.
@@Charistoph because he never was. But he lead the Silver Guardians, I believe that he is capable of leading a team of his own. With some story arc and development, he has the potential.
@@GinoongVince, there is a difference between leading a group of soldiers who have a chain of command and a team of rangers who don't. He'd have to earn their loyalty. Not saying he couldn't, it just would take a lot of time they may not have.
Personally, I would've put Tommy in a Kruger position in the team. Making him the mentor that is willing to hop in when needed. As for the 6th ranger, I'd have to choose Orion. I wouldn't want to just simply recreate the Super Megaforce team, but having a 6th ranger that can change to one more needed for the fight would be ideal and since it would just be him, it gives the 6th ranger a "gimmick" like how they are known for in most seasons.
Also, I'm fairly certain every single one of those rangers you listed has a sword as their personal weapon, minus the Black RPM Ranger as I think he had something different.
Yeah and orion in his gold mode or whatever that is called would really help
I just hate that we have to call him Super Megaforce Silver. 🙄
IMHO, they should NEVER have merged the megaforce seasons. Goseiger (Megaforce) and Gokaiger (Super Megaforce) were completely different shows. Gokaiger is generally considered one of the best seasons of Super Sentai. The fact that they fused the two seasons, meant we never got the crossover with Goseiger, which is where the legend war came from, but instead of all the teams just fighting a bunch of grunts, they fought villains from throughout history and, the part that REALLY pissed me off, is that we missed out on a battle including EVERY SINGLE MEGAZORD EVER, up to that point. They could’ve said the ones from shows prior to mighty morphin’s Megazord were the legendary Zords from the past, or something.
Another big mistake they made was Orion himself. In Gokaiger, the silver ranger was a human. And a sentai super fan, who helped the team from space learn what their powers did. It would’ve been a great way to introduce younger viewers to what came before, had they chosen to follow suit. Unfortunately, they didn’t, and I will never let that go.
I grew up on the OG Mighty Morphin’ team. I remember watching in awe as Tommy was introduced and then redeemed himself. I followed PR thru Dinothunder, occasionally watching sporadically after. But I came back and watched what was done to those two seasons, after seeing the sentai versions, and it really was a major let down.
I agree with most of the rangers of your team being some of the best in the franchise, however it may be weird to have some many leaders figures on the same team.
They are also missing a tech/scientist ranger

The only problem would be idk how they would work as a team. Jason, Jen, Sky, Taylor, and Tommy all have rather controlling personalities, and I think there would be pretty big power struggle.
Keeping in mind most teams need various different personalities to make the team click, and almost all of your picks have essentially the same personality trait. There's usually the leader, the smart one / or at least strategist, the comic relief that keeps the team in check, the heart of the team who keeps them together as friends, etc. if this were just a list of most badass rangers then I would totally agree with u 100%

I was glad to see Billy get such a huge response, especially after hearing how the actor was treated. I usually identified with him, being the more nerdy of my peers (not quite as bad, but still bad).
Still, why limit yourself to 6? There are plenty of series who had 7 or more (with only one or two seasons with 5), and some didn't even have actual Rangers fighting with the team.

I have a cool question for y'all: If you could pick any two ranger powers to fuse together, kind of like Lord Drakkon did, who would you pick and why? I would pick red dragon thunder and white tigerzord. Not only could you really have fun with the ranger suit as well as fusing the two swords into something a kin to a falchion, but fusing the zords would be glorious, having the red dragon thunderzord transform into warrior mode, then have the white tiger zord break into armor for the warrior mode red dragon to wear. I think this Red thunder fusion battle zord would be glorious!

@@brettmagnus6332 In the credits of the 3rd Power Rangers Unworthy Episode i saw two really cool ideas. King Tyranno: Jason combines the Red Mighty Morphin Power with the Gold Zeo Power. And a White Dragon Ranger who combines the White Thunder Power with the Green Mighty Morphin Power
@@Anthyrion yes those are both great choices. I especially like the white dragon ranger, which would be like a reimagining of lord drakkon's power, but for a good ranger. I love it!
Interesting team. 5 of them had led a team, two have protective shields, 2 police, 1 airforce, and all but black have flying zords. {if you include the red dragon) I don't think Jason is the best leader out of the group. Costume swap them around but nice list.
The beauty of this team is that they could switch leaders on the fly offering unique strategies making them harder to anticipate.
It’s been so long since I watched any Power Rangers tbh, and now I wanna go back and rewatch all of them.

I like this Ultimate Power Ranger Team a lot. Honestly, I wouldn't change it. However, I think this team would be complete if you added a 7th ranger to the mix. I'm talking about Cameron Watanabe, the Green Samurai Ranger from Power Rangers Ninja Storm.

My own rule: No two rangers from the same team. If multiple rangers were on multiple teams, they can be together, but have to represent a different team.
Red: Leo (Lost Galaxy)
Blue: TJ (In Space)
Green: Adam (Zeo)
-if you want to go verbatim with the video and use only a black ranger, then Dillon (RPM) gets the nod.
Yellow: Taylor (Wild Force)
Pink: Jen (Time Force)
6th Ranger: White: Tommy Oliver (MMPR) - Leader
Red was actually the hardest, not because there are so many great choices, but more so that the other colors rule out so many great Reds. Tommy, of course, rules out Jason and himself. Andros would be the next Red in my book, but then Blue becomes a problem. No Billy, and Andros rules out TJ. And we’re not doing Justin! So I give the nod to TJ at Blue, and pick another Red. Since Jen is the obvious pick at Pink, that rules out Wes, so Leo, who is a fantastic Red ranger, gets the nod.
A second option would be to have Tommy be the Red Turbo ranger, Adam the Black MMPR, and Jason as Zeo Gold. But Tommy has to be White or Green, right? Just doesn’t feel right if he’s not.

They technically all are leaders. As they are all individually amazing rangers, and prob the pick of their own retrospective teams.
Yes jason is the first red ranger and the first leader. So he does deserve to take lead once again.

Will Aston from Operation Overdrive is seriously underrated. He has superhuman hearing and is a professional thief/spy, wields a huge hammer, has a formula 1 car zord, and has superhuman vision. He's also a lone wolf and a ladies man. I imagine him working well with Ziggy from RPM, who has a criminal background, underworld connections, and is a wise-cracking hustler.
Calvin from Super Ninja Steel is at his coolest in Lion Fire Yellow armor mode, but also has the other super modes he obtained in that season. He's a genius mechanic, loyal, and has overcome crippling fears for the good of his team. I'd imagine him being the heart of gold for this group and the voice of reason.
Ethan is the genius geek/tech nerd, hardcore gamer, and has dino armor skin, making him the tank of the group. He also has his shield weapon, making him a melee and defensive powerhouse, not to mention a brainiac for the team.
Amelia & Zayto are the leaders of the team, though Zayto as the special Zenith Ranger is more of a mentor figure and emergency backup. Amelia is an awesome strategist, and knows what it's like to both lead and follow in a team. She's also got one of the best melee weapons in the franchise, the mighty Ankylo Hammer. She has a background in paranormal investigation as well, making her especially good when up against magic-based villains like Rita & Zedd.
You should make a video talking about Second in Commands of Power Ranger teams. Those don’t really get talked about

6th - Super Megaforce Silver
@Zon I feel it. I mean Jason is good and technically way better than Super Megaforce Silver. But I just personally like Super Megaforce Silver Power mainly because I watched Gokaiger.
Ninja Steel Blue is there because Peter Sudarso is just a cool, chill ass guy in real life.
Dino Thunder Yellow was because I needed a Disney Era ranger and honestly was a toss up between her and Ninja Storm Yellow, but I felt adding another ninja power was meh. So yeah Dino Thunder yellow. 😂
I think it's more fun to have a restriction like only 2 rangers from each era to make it a bit harder to choose other than just going for earlier rangers all the time.
I'll chose a team to combat Lord Drakkon.

Tori: Blue Ninja (A strong ranger and a sensible voice, plus i always liked the idea of a female Blue)
Jen: Pink Time Force (A seasoned leader in her own right, would make a great Co-Captain with Jason)
Tommy: Black Dino (The best to ever do it, in a color hes underappreciated for)
Chip: Yellow Mystic (The funny guy, also loved the idea of a male Yellow)
Doggie Kruger: SPD Shadow (Basically a "Zordon Ranger", invaluable to the team)
If we can pick a Zordon type figure to "assemble" the team and send them on missions, it would be Billy.

Adam as MMPR Black
TJ as Space Blue
Gia as Super Megaforce Yellow
Jen as Timeforce Pink

the moment a mystic force ranger isn't on the team automatically makes this weaker

What's interesting about this mix is that these characters are from different time periods. So the question is, Jason was a teenager when he was Red Ranger. In this team up, would he be taken from when he was active as a teen? Or when he was older, like in Forever Red or his appearance in Beast Morphers? Taken from youth the other older rangers might not trust his guidance, but as an older more experienced ranger would he be past his prime?

I think its pretty cheap to include anyone from mighty morphin all together, regardless of what team anyone makes youll most likely end up with any of them on this team, you should try making one without any of the OG squad whatsoever i was expecting to see a different red and sixth ranger but thats just my opinion

This is mostly what I would have picked. If I were to make this list, I would flat out disbar all Mighty Morphin from the choices, for the reason we saw in your video: they would win any contest, which makes it less interesting and defeats the purpose. So, I would take the first four winners here; Taylor, Jenn, Sky, and Dillon.
For my red ranger, I would choose Casey of Jungle Fury. He starts out as a newbie (referred to as a "cub" by many in the show) and ends up a master. He is shown to be a quick study, easily learning new techniques with some tutelage and observation. Then, he's shown to be able to develop on his own to reach his pinnacle. The themes of Jungle Fury, self improvement and second chances, were handled masterfully, and Casey was the main reason why.
For my sixth ranger... I have several choices, but many would come from series that have already been represented by previous members: Anubis, Eric, Gem & Gemma, R.J. or Dominic. I want to branch out. Now... I know I may get blasted for this, but I don't particularly care much for Tommy. He's not a bad character, I just think he's overrated and any time he's on screen, you can just hear the writers swooning over him (or playing him up because the audience is expecting it). I gotta go elsewhere. I'd like to say the Magna Defender, but... that would add a second black ranger, and I like me some color spreads. Nah. I'm giving it to Cameron of Ninja Storm. Brilliant, snarky, and way more competent than the rest of the unmorphed Ninja storm team even halfway through the season, Cam is a no-brainer... Errr... the choice is a no-brainer. I did just say he was brilliant... Moving on!

I think having the Tommy/Jason dynamic is absolutely essential for the best team, but i would rather have both of them in their Zeo forms.

Sky technically isn't even a Blue Ranger anymore, is the Deka Ranger now (In comics at least).

Cheating with 7 ahaha BUT I just find it irresponsible:
* Not have the Zeo powers on there if the theories on how strong the powers were are true
* Not to have the potentially limitless (in terms of capabilities, spell potential etc.) magic of the mystic force rangers
Not putting anyone from time force because (despite loving them), with all that futuristic power, Ransik took them down so easily lol...just no need to have them

I think this is a fine list. Apologies, this is just me but I wish for alittle more diversity (wouldve had TJ as Blue Ranger for one) but i love the characters who were chosen so I can't complain heh.

I'm a bit surprised to see Billy scoring so high. He was terrible, easily the worst part of the MMPR team! In an era when they were still using the word "geek" as an insult, Billy was the very epitome of "geek"-ness, maybe half a step up from Steve Urkel at best. When most kids would think it was awesome to be a Power Ranger, Billy, who was supposed to be my representation, was the one everyone at school laughed at you for being like.
I was so happy when he got written off the show! It wasn't until much later that I learned about the, shall we say, less than happy real-world circumstances surrounding it, but even so. Getting rid of a bad character for a bad reason is still getting rid of a bad character, and good riddance to him! (Having said that, the reimagined Billy played by RJ Cyler in the 2017 reboot was one of the best characters in the whole film. But original Billy? Please don't bring him back for any team.)
I agree. He was always the weakest link and least evolved character on the original team.

The other Rangers, didn't respect Jason, they feared him.
I would love to see a team of entirely time displaced rangers, but one representative each season.
Jen as pink, Tanya as yellow, Delphine as white (counting her because for some reason Master vile spell didn't impact her), Koda as blue, Zayto as red, and Sam from SPD as the six Ranger.
Originally I thought Trip would be better than Jen, but we need more proactive alpha types on the team for conflict and assertiveness. I can see Jen and Tanya arguing, and I can see Delphine and Zayto having disagreements based off different planetary customs. When I think ultimate team I don't think of strength: I think of character writing
