a medium country ,not small ...in Europe is no.9 in size ,it was even much bigger but USSR took Bessarabia with force in 1940 ,a region from Kingdom of Romania at the time ,you know ,WW2 ... nowadays is called Republic of Moldova (russian puppet country - A poor buffer state, between Russia sphere of interest and NATO)
