- So its about time i bring back the original turbo metro to the channel, and in this video i strip the engine down to see what happened after the santapod trackday in august!
Its pretty bad so a full rebuild is on the cards!

Ah.. The usual suspect aka weak ring lands! I know you gapped the rings but were they 160 pistons bruv? I expect you already know but they're supposed to be slightly stronger than other OEMs. Also, are you running the standard fuel pump? I wouldn't trust it at the power you're running. An uprated pump is around 40-50 notes.
Yeah, 160 pistons, gapped rings and a walbro 255 pump, voltage dropped mid run at pod and i lost fuel pump meaning it ran lean and this happened!
What do you film these on? Quality always looks of good quality

I fried my stock ecu on my zr 1.8 vvc whit turbo 🥺
Yeah i fried my engine the ecu is fine 😂

We are planning to turbo it, will be pretty subtle mods so it still looks standard but will surprise some people!
Is that the same inlet as the vvc160?
