I just discovered your channel today while looking up tips for sewing seam pockets, and I have to comment to say that as a beginner sewist I really appreciate your videos! Super helpful and informative, and watching them also makes me have more confidence in myself, I think because you have kind of a easygoing and understandable approach to sewing rather than a bunch of rules to follow like some instructors do which honestly just stresses me out! Thank you very much for your content, please keep it up!!

Haha I had a question about twin needles but that's answered! Can't wait to try this!

One additional finishing step would be to reinforce the shoulder seams and the back of the neck seam by encasing them in an extra fabric strip. It'll both keep the seam from rubbing uncomfortably, as well as keep the t-shirt from sagging too much across the shoulders.
And what a coincidence, I was just re-hemming a T-shirt a few days ago. Sadly my coverstitch machine was misbehaving and eating threads - it's a good thing I have two of them! (I have a few thoughts for fixing the misbehaving one, I'm just waiting on some supplies). It was a good reminder of how tricky knit fabrics are to handle, though: just laying the shirt flat to trim up the bottom edge was a challenge!

Adorable t-shirt! Have you done a video on how to find the grainline on a solid knit fabric, like when it's folded in half for cutting? I know you did one on wovens a long time ago. I always have to fold it, pick it up on the crease, and then sort of wave it until it lies flat against the other side. Otherwise I get diagonal wrinkles.

Hey Anastasia, can this pattern be printed out on a regular printer, or do I need a large format printer? Thank you very much~ Anthony

You can print it out on a home 🖨️ printer! Just select A4/Letter when you check out. If you are making it for yourself you might want to make it longer. Check your length before you cut your fabric.
