The 90s had Steven Spielberg, Oliver Stone, Francis Ford Coppola, James Cameron and more making movies. It was the golden age of action and drama. The 80s were the golden age of horror films. The 2000s up to now are the age of CGI special effects. Predictable plots but amazing visuals.
This scene is so intense. Charlie has sheer joy upon his face he runs to Gail! Then Bennie Blanco ruins it. So unexpected....what he went through to make that train...💔 Brian dePalma is a great filmmaker and don't even get me started on Al Pacino!🥰
The dumbest mistake in the film was not the lawyer ripping off the mob boss for $1 million, sealing his fate. The dumbest mistake was Carlito humiliating Benny for no good reason. Just goes to show despite all his street smarts, he's human too.
The one thing Carlito knows he cannot do is live happily ever after with Gail. Deep down inside he knows he can't settle down and live a normal life after what he's been through. That's why he insults Benny because that's how he gets to go out on his shield instead of trying to play house at the beach with Gail. He lived for the dream and it was better dying still believing in it than watching it all crumble because he knew he couldn't really go live that quiet life and that was the hardest truth of all. He had all he wanted, he set his girl up then he check out. Just the way he wanted it.
I’m telling you right now, they don’t make movies like they used to, all these newer movies, just don’t quite hit like they used to... these classic movies will forever stay in my heart.
Coming up I saw this ending for some of my peeps back in the day. And sadly for most them it was either the same ending, or they went to prison for so long when they got out half of their life was gone. Some things in life are better left alone. That lifestyle is definitely one of them. The 💰, cars, clothes, jewelry, homes, and fake azz friends all disappear at the same time. While I did admire their minor hood wealth as a youngster I knew that race has always been a marathon not a sprint. Thank GOD I took the long way around with the scenic route. I love my parents for giving me a good home and a strong work ethic. The GAME is exactly that, a literal game. One that few truly win.

Facts
I always rooted for Carlito to make it on the train. I finally had to make an edit where he does. Justice!
LAST OF THE MORICANS !!!!!!! 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
The dumbest mistake in the film was not the lawyer ripping off the mob boss for $1 million, sealing his fate. The dumbest mistake was Carlito humiliating Benny for no good reason. Just goes to show despite all his street smarts, he's human too.
One hell of an ending scene. Classic
"hey come on lets go, 'nah you stay here' " *shoots pachanga* LMFAOOOO
" come on let's go, nah u stay here"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 lmao
“Sorry Baby, I try the best I could. Honest. Can’t come with me on this trip though”. 💔 🥺
"Can't come with me on this trip... " Dam!
This scene made me cry low key
You know the police escort couldn't care less about Carlito probably watched him destroy thousands of lives with the drugs he sold.
Eh, he is a different man in the end. I wouldn't say he deserved it if he didn't directly kill an innocent person in cold blood.
I’m telling you right now, they don’t make movies like they used to, all these newer movies, just don’t quite hit like they used to... these classic movies will forever stay in my heart.
Man I'm fucking dumb, I never noticed Benny Blanco running beside them. I always thought he appeared out of nowhere. Great scene
Just realize in both Scarface and Carlito way, Pacino's character always had to die because he saved someone (two kids in Scarface and Benny Blanco)
And The Godfather trilogy Al Pacino character died alone with no one
He dies in Serpico too
@@tvalokibatman6563no tf he didnt his daughter dies
Incredible movie.incredible acting.
Incredible soundtrack.
No room in this city for big hearts
Masterpiece
That woman can dance.
0:45 lmfao, I never watched this movie and don't know the context, but that fkn smug face with heavy accent "ay r'membah me BEnny BLancOH from the Bruhnx" and how totally casually he whacks a dude is just too funny
R.I.P CARLITO BRIGANTE !!!!
Why ? He survived.
Just realized Benny would have got lifed after this hit, wouldn't have been that hard to get a positive ID and Gail would have no doubt heard him say he was "Benny Blanco from the the Bronx" lol
