Juanjo cornejo, hardly. Even DT fans tend to agree that James LaBrie is a rather lackluster vocalist in an otherwise extremely proficient group. Now he gets the job done, for the most part, but that's about it. A more capable singer would elevate them to a whole another level, but I guess it wouldn't be the same anymore...
@@peppefrasca5179 and a fucking aweseome demo! moonbase is such a killer track, sadly it has never reappeared on the later albums like destroying the cosmos.
Not really blackened vocals, it's more like metalcore vocalists. Black vocals are more pitchy. IMO vocals here are ok but instruments are just amazing. And I love the sci-fi themed bands.
Vocalist sounds like Chuck Schuldiner did in the latter part of his career. One of my favorite vocalists. This guy would do well in a Death cover band.

Vektor hinted at some new material on their Facebook. They weren't very clear about it, though; from what they showed us, either they're going to record it in 2018, or it's coming out in 2018. Either way, I'm fucking excited as shit.

Imagine Chuck Schuldiner having a thrash band
Sounds like a megaman level. That's a compliment.
Main Boss Music
DUDE, I kept listening to this song for months and didn't understand your comment and suddenly it clicked!
Progressive technical melodic thrash death metal.
Finally. A metal band all metalheads can agree upon. Vektor is the bridge.
definitely not, because some people can't stand such kind of vocals, plus that some others don't like such complexity on songs!
You mean Black Sabbath?
Dream theather is the bridge

lol

Love the Angel of Death like scream at the beginning. This band rips!
angel of death pitched an octave up

progressive thrash metal .-. I love it too much. screams are incredible. bassist is maniac .-. what a beauty song
That solo was great, but the vocals man they fit perfectly for some reason. Idk how
For some reason I think this is a mix between death and voivoid.. and a bit of slayer. Unique.
Manilla Road too
Voivod is their main influence afaik.
@Naki Value Yeah, good point
Yes
thats a pretty good description

their best song and one of the most magnificent trash album of the last years IMO
Thrash or Trash? XD
My fault, sorry ahahah tHrash of course, this band is not garbage
death vocal + thrash riffs + progressive solo + etc
@Raul Ramirez Yes. Blackened Technical Thrash Metal and later also Progressive Metal.

Melodic and brutal. You gotta have both and this song has both in spades!
