Also, if any eggs were left behind when the barracuda took a bite of anything in that cave, he was so quick and tense that he could've just rushed through that time of eating and swam away immediately, letting a small amount of eggs to fall out of the cave, but leaving behind only one egg is physically impossible since the barracuda was that ferociously impulsive to take and run just like that. But also, maybe it was a miracle that Nemo was left behind, and it actually did happen. But it's open to anyone's interpretation.
