With the outbreak of the Ukrainian war, the polish director Maciek Hamela began as a volunteer, driving countless civilians to Poland. Moved by their stories, he began documenting his journeys, providing an up-close look at the people in the back of his van.
The documentary film IN THE REARVIEW provides a raw and intimate glimpse into stories of trauma, loss and resilience and the human cost of conflict.
