Fire, Ales and Wild Camping in Wales | Brecon Beacons

- We took plenty of ales and food and headed up to the Brecon Beacons national park (Wales) to do some Wild camping. Plenty of laughs were had in this vid so try not to take it too seriously. I slept out in my new Naturehike Cloud Up 2, Mathew was in the Robens Starlight 2 and Drufus was in the Lightwave T10 Trail.
All the mess was cleaned up afterwards and we even collected a bit of rubbish on the way home left by others.

The wood used was found nearby from an old replaced fence and we used an existing fireplace.
We left the place cleaner than we found it by doing a clean up before we left 👌

Hey Adam! Your videos always make me smile and even chuckle. I used to go camping every chance I got. I loved it so much. One of my favorite things was to sleep to the sound of rain on the tent, thunder rumbling in the distance, and the sounds of crickets tree frogs and bull frogs! Cooking over the fire was the best! I miss it, so watching you and your friends takes me back. Thank you so much!! Stay safe and well!

Afternoon sir, popping this on the tele now with a brew, smashing campsite and sp pleased the wood had stayed dry for you all. The kebabs looked as, but the sausage sandwiches won it for us...with the burger in a close 2nd Matt's 1" long didn't look half bad either 🤭👍 great video as always, catch you soon, Ceri and Kat 🏔❤👍

where was the exact spot you camped? im going late jan and want to wild camp and this looks like a great position!
A few people have worked it out from the video I don't like to make things obvious because it gets overrun! Theres so many spots about though

Is it ok to build a little fire when camping or is it legally not allowed
I wanna go camping but a little fire is a must
In some areas it's more frowned upon than others. It needs to be safe - away from trees and peat. Then make sure it's fully out afterwards and covered back over

You'll easily find a quiet spot I try to scope out places on Google maps first then go in person to see if it's as nice as it looks

The problem with this spot is that a few people have now worked it out. I went to go camping there the other day and people were already there after watching this! There's a load of pitches like this though of you start looking 👍

Is it a myth that fires are not allowed in the UK? Or is it only in Eng as I am based near Peak District ????
Thanks for watching. It's not that they are not allowed but you should make sure things look the same as when you arrived. So any marks should be restored to what they looked like before. I'm not sure about peak district rules
Just got my nature hike cloud up 2 whilst on deal off Alixpress got the dark green version looking forward to getting out there and testing it out. Bargain at £90 all in including delivery it’s so well recommended on so many channels Summit Or Nothing sold it for me.
That's a really good price for what it is. You may be able to hide a little better than I can in my one too 😅

It's never happened to me. I think as long as you leave the place as you found it with no mess theres not much to complain about
