    Definetly agree on the Exertion part being the most fatigue inducing out of all! plenty of problems pop up when we only prioritize on volume and intensity and completely leave out Exertion. Great vid as always guys! Really love the collabs and just hope they never end haha! Gotta get Derek aka Ass back (dont tell him i said that) in one of the collabs too! also Mr sad boi Yoni

    I just started lifting weights at 51 and powerlifting at 52. I did not know I was suppose to have a deload so I just lifted hard and heavy for 4 years. I always pictured Conan in my head pushing that rock wheel and everyone dies off but him and he gets huge. I have tried to deload, but it never goes well because it does not feel like enough so I end up doing more. I am sore constantly but that gets better when I lift. Not lifting hurts more that lifting. Oh well I am not normal anyway. I am a natty and just have a huge protein intake (too many carbs) but that is the way I go. I am trying to get my 600 pound raw bench before I turn 57 in April, I am getting close.Thanks for the information. I am too competitive for my own good. Right now I think I have 7 World Records and 13 National records in Bench in 3 years so I guess I am doing something right even if I do not know what I am doing. My best friend who got me lifting told me that the day I skip the gym is the same day my competition is in the gym working. I have a really hard time not going heavy to failure all the time. I do take 3-4 days off before a meet though. I hate it! LOL!!! Keep killing it.

      Thank you. I was gifted with good genetics for gaining mass and lifting heavy. I am an endomorph to the extreme. Bad thing is I gain fat easily too. Thanks for your kind words. Keep killing it!

    Bro your content is great but you have to do something about that mic, it's way too tinny to hear in any environment that has some noise.

    how do you even recover from neuro fatigue? how do you lift if you feel drained and tired of everything?

    • @BrendanTietz
      @BrendanTietz  Před 6 lety +1

      this person sleep definitely affects it most and making sure your exertion is in check. It’s easier than you’d think. Neural fatigue really only becomes a problem when you’re constantly overshooting top sets or doing things really close to failure or messing up your sleep and nutrition

      Chase Taylor LOL tbh I did for years too man but I’d encourage checking the diet. It helps a ton! Especially with the fine tuning at a high level. I definitely think sleep is more important but man nutrition goes a longer way than you’d realize
