Downtown Davao City Progress | JoyoftheWorld: Travel

Davao City is continuously progressing and it is evident in this video. We will start the video from the Sutherland (formerly known the place of The Venue), one of the IT Parks in the city then to Roxas Avenue towards J.P. Laurel Avenue stopping at the area of Southern Philippines Medical Center. Along J.P. Laurel Avenue, especially at the Bajada area, you'll observe mid rise buildings of condominium and offices that added a vibrant skyline of the city. Huwag sana tayong magsourgrape kung ang isang lugar katulad ng DavaoCity na ito'y umunlad nang umunlad na walang katulad. Ngayon pa nga lang ay ikinukompara na ito sa Manila at Cebu cities (1521) na nauna sa duyan ng 346 years kaysa Davao City (1867).

Metro Davao only - 6,492.84 km2
The claim is not false. However, we don't compete with Cebu, it's even centuries old than Davao City.

May baha din sa Davao City kaya lang 0.1% lang sa total area nito na 244,000 hectares ang may baha, hindi katulad sa Metro Manila na halos 30% o sobra pa kung ito'y nalubog sa tubig.
