@@melegattie4116 I think he went a bit over the limit. Loss of grip through under-steer and then hasty steering movements. Maybe he even had to brake.
That is one massively angry car!! Pulls so hard over 120mph though!
I mean he's pushing over 20 psi of boost! 😢 Don't know any car that can be called "slow/soft" when that much boost kicks in.

@@marvinvisser5039 the astra quick but the megane with a garret turbo will see 400 on stock block and would leave the astra behind, I've owned a vxr i currently have a megane cup and they are completely different cars

How is a car struggling for grip because it has too much power well built? Not even mentioning the turbo lag
@@Vazquez12able Front Wheel Drive, not the best tires, suspension, improper LSD setup, too much power at one stage. All these factors can equal the struggle for grip. The biggest factor will be the car being FWD and the turbo just hitting the tires with too much power all of a sudden (instead of linearly) - because of this you need to make sure all the other factors are set up properly to minimize the loss of grip.

I've owned both a 450bhp VXR and now a 300bhp Megane RS Cup. Both are great but the Megane RS is an absolute weapon on the track, I can't wait to do some dry laps at the Ring (did around 10 wet laps unfortunately but still amazed with the car). Love the VXR build
I've done the same came from a vxr to the megane rs, both cars are good in there own way but the megane just in a different league handling wise. If i wasn't getting rid after summer id definitely spend the money and put a big turbo on and see 380-400bhp

This car is hilarious , all the power no traction, I had a MK4 GTI just like that. Old school, For a for cylinder turbo engine it sound great and properly one of the best sound I have heard on a Turbo Hot hatch.
7:47 That thing sounds wild haha, you rly gotta bang that limiter to put the power down and keep it in boost ! From 11:03 you can see the potential of the car, needs a bit of a different setup for the track power wise etc, but this looked great.

Although its not a perfect setup it looks like one of the most fun FWD cars ive seen you drive, looks fun as hell! Most i see have next to no torque steer and are set up perfectly which makes them unchallenging to drive

Very entertaining car, but the owner should mount a smaller turbo - it would spool up quicker and still be usable. Also the oversteer on flugplatz was dangerous - the car could use a spoiler or looser springs in the back.
Or at the very least a more agressive, smaller A/R ratio
Turning the stability comtrol ups the entertainment value and another 500hp would help with cornering!

We have Vauxhall here in the US but only used not new usually as Saturn then you get a Vauxhall I think only here in Oklahoma where we don't do emissions

It might be. The Peugeot is much lighter and has far less drivetrain loss. Above 100 mph (once it can actually put the power down), the Peugeot might actually be faster than a 600 hp RS3.
