One year after the Battle of Geonosis, Count Dooku sent Asajj Ventress to the ruling families of Ord Cestus to ensure production of JK-13 “Jedi Killer” bio-droids. The Jedi Council could not allow these living circuit droids to be deployed to the battlefield, and they sent Obi-Wan Kenobi and Kit Fisto to halt production. On the planet, clone troopers organized the oppressed population into a militia, and under the leadership of their Jedi Generals, assaulted the droid factories. However, the battle quickly came to a deadlock. Seeing no alternative, the Republic prepared for an orbital bombardment. With the planet’s guaranteed destruction, the clone captain chose an alternative. Having fallen in love with a local transport pilot, he defied his loyalty programming and sacrificed himself to destroy the droid control center and save the one he loved. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I’m starting to notice a trend. Love overcoming the programming of a clone, the dogma of the Jedi, and the corruptive hold of the dark side. I’m starting to think love is the fundamental nature the force, and not war like what Malgus once said.
Malgus was an edgefest, and in your case, I am wont to argue you're being naive. Love is a strong power, yes, but so is Hate. It is in the understanding of such so-called opposites that we find enilghtenment, and the deeper mysteries.
That makes sense after all, when Kanan sacrificed himself to save his family in rebels, right before he died he regained his sight, just so he could see his lover one last time. One could interpret that as the force granting him his sight back because of him making that sacrifice.
@@illogicalbear6200 Hate clouds the mind. There's a reason there's a word called "bias".
@@illogicalbear6200false. No one has ever Ben saved by hate. If anything I think you are confusing hate with anger. You can be mad but use it to determination to get things done. But then the anger subsides and it’s just pure focus. So again, hate doesn’t save lives. Love does and you are confusing emotions here. Plus Love is selfless while Hate is selfish.
@@TheLuconichistorically that doesn't hold up. When two civilizations compete over limited resources hatred of the rival group can save the lives of one civilization at the cost of the other. If these two groups were to only love each other and cooperate instead of compete both groups would be wiped out. It's not unviserally applicable at some point said civilization will have to cooperate with another through trade but nonetheless the characterization of hatred as purely selfish, destructive, and impractical is an overgeneralization. It's important to remember that hatred isn't usually unreasonable, there is almost always an explanation or reasoning for it. Typically it's a defensive mechanism, which like any defense mechanism can be beneficial but often becomes harmful.
Good soldier follow orders.
Great soldiers make a path.
Execute Order 69
Great soldiers become warriors, fighting with honor
If good soldiers follow orders, better soldiers know when to defy them
Those droids look sick, they need to appear more often
Well their development was just permanently ended.
@@kacperaskawski3461Damn.
The clone who fell in love is called ‘Jangotat’. That should help anyone find the comic who is interested.
Thanks fam!!
He stopped the enemy using the power of love!
And this ship he found
I'm pretty sure sidious was very upset that his plans to blame the Jedi for the death of an entire planet was foiled by a lowly clone
The person he fell in love with I wonder what her reaction would be if she found out about the inhibitor chips and that the clones died for nothing
Probably horrified if she even remembers
His sacrifice has become our oath
I understood that reference
What’s the reference I have heard it recently but can’t remember was it 40k?
Optimus Primal said it in ROTB@@silentshadow9983
TILL ALL ARE ONE
He didn't choose love over duty, he managed to choose love and duty
“Do we take prisoners?”
“I don’t”
Alpha 98 "Nate" later renamed Jangotat. A real badass in a real good novel
Tales of the Clones is exactly what we need.
The ultimate simp.
Just kidding. But god damn bro love makes you do crazy things.
Jedi being cool with genocide as long as they are safe is so on brand. At least the sith acknowledge they aren’t good guys, but the Jedi’s hypocrisy is something else.
I have this book. "The cestus deception" I think.
They need to make these cool stories into shorts.
Kenobi and Fisto going into War. Meanwhile Anakin: Hey Padmé do you wanna check My new Lightsaber?😏😂
I just hope the woman he fell in love with knew how he felt about her
She was carrying his child, so I'm pretty sure she knew...
Great video I wish we saw more stories like this in the clone wars
I enjoy that there are more acts of love being portrayed in star wars. Something the jedi resented their order to allow in fear of falling to the dark side. When its been love that has saved many. Even jedi. For instance kanan and barriss figured out that love can be the strongest motivation to succeed and they became completely connected to the force in that way. Really shows just how wrong the jedi ideals had with love not being intertwined with the order. Perhaps it was also why the force allowed for the destruction of the order in the first place.
That's why there is only one cut lawquene
Imagine all the sacrifices his brothers made when they found love outside of their brotherhood. There's a tragic beauty to that.
The force is strong with this channel.
Ah yes, the Jedi and the Republic perfirming another warcrime. Is it Tuesday already?
Seemed the Seperatists were also performing warcrimes, what's your point
If it works it works
Luke also defies Obi Wan and Yoda's order to defeat Vader. With the power of love, he redeemed his father instead
Maybe, the thing that corrupted republic's old jedi order is the "no attachment" policies, thus preventing love flourish and jedis to truly embrace the light
Absolutely lovely
19:47 they should implement ads in a similar way that bungie did it, where during a halo 3 cutscene, sergeant Johnson references a certain product for the fun of it
Ig what obi wan said isn’t always the best choice of action “COME TO YOUR SENSES, don’t let your personal feelings get in the way” i guess one clone can make a difference, ‘nuff said
Its almost like the Jedi were wrong about connections
Theres no way the jedi would have ever authorized the destruction of an entire planet
It's the Jedi they are hypocritical monsters who kidnap children to fight in wars they have no business being a part of by this point in time. They are not the good guys by any means neither are the sith but they didn't hide who they really were.
Is it just me or why does a part of the giant building in the last sequence look like the American flag?
Just wondering what comic/novel is this it sounds cool
The Cestus Deception
Legend 🗿🗿
*Sobbs* of course he diiiid😭😭😭😭
Wow
Why are there Shock Troopers?
true chad
Cool
50:23
How did he destroy it?
What’s this Clone Captain’s name tho?!!
🫡
Does this clone have a name?
nothing comes before Duty.
SIMP!
Just kidding.
Can you imagine?
Plu
Is this canon or legends?
😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Disney Take 📝
God the comics were so much better than the clone wars show
Simp
Don't use the filthy TCW pictures for this epic story.
The clone wars is amazing what are you talking about?
@@JasonTodd81804 It retconned this specific story along with many others of the original Clone Wars multimedia project. It overwrote countless comics and books. That's why it's filthy.
@@arozinos863 ok but the show was made by George Lucas himself, where the comics?
@@JasonTodd81804 No, the idea for the show came from George Lucas, he wasn't really involved. As for the comics(and books), George Lucas had to go through every single one and accept them to be released. He also influenced the old CW multimedia project and had heavy involvement in the 2d series.
Bro
I need this clones name to salite him🫡
It was also a different form of duty, may your soul find peace in the force Captain 🫡
