I can relate to your story Al! My After my GrandMom had a stroke. My Mom & I found a nursing home closer to my Mom. It had 3 beds per room! I knew she wouldn't like it. My Mom & I went to the hospital to tell her she would be moving her the next day ( my birthday January 10,2005). I flew home that day (Sunday). I walked into work ready to celebrate my birthday and my friend Becky ( receptionist) told me my Grand Mom died😮 She took her own self out! She didn't want to go anywhere except to her home🙏🏽

What she got instead was mistreated,forced to work, forced to get an IUD, and her family used her money and property. There is no one in her corner looking out for her. And that makes me sad for her. Because people start thinking “Wow. I am alone and no one cares.” then they start making permanent decisions they can’t undo. If you get my meaning. Her family did this to her. The strict conservatorship IS the reason why she is worse than when it started. She wasn’t even allowed to have a She wasn’t even allowed to have an iPad. They treated her like a prisoner. Her father kept insisting that she was dangerous to herself and other people, but forced her to work in Las Vegas and do a meet and greets. I 100% believe everything Brittany says happened to her during that conservatorship. Plus it’s been documented. I do believe she needs to continue focusing on her mental health. But right now she doesn’t have anyone in her corner and my heart hurts for her. Not everybody’s blessed to have a tribe or Village to look out for them. And I pray she find hers.
