But what I think outshines her outer beauty is her 'effervescent' personality, she literally oozes joy and happiness out of every pore, she smiles with her entire face!! I know I'm going to sound like a fan boi, and I am, but often when I'm feeling down or depressed I'll find one of her videos where she's being interviewed or she's talking about a new film or project and that 'effervescence' just comes pouring out and I find it's impossible to not feel better.....

I spent 6 years in and out of the hospital fighting to stay alive. Out of the group of my 24 friends only 3 were there for me. That's when you find out who really cares for you and who only cares about what you can do for them.

This made me cry. I had a brain surgery 10 years ago. It took a full year to recover. I felt much much better a week after the surgery than a month after it. Or even 6 months after it. It was such a shitty experience. It's amazing Emilia managed to recover while filming GOT. That woman is amazing! (and I'm not even a fan!)
Denyjane: wow. Ya. No surgery but similar experience for me March 9th 2017. Woke with thunderclap headache, vision was going, knot on head. Use to be a migraine sufferer. By midnite I was being choppered to a "better" hospital (3 hrs away by car...) Only remember bits & pieces...3 days in ICU. I apparently fell sometime during the nite, got back in bed, and woke. Released from hospital day 5. Told me I had a mild stroke.
Took better part of 2 yrs to recover. Just never been or 'felt' normal again. And then for the icing on the cake, I almost died on June 7th 2018. Long story but let's just say I view EVERYTHING differently now. If this was/is my spiritual awakening...Ill take it.

Such an inspiration. I suffered an aneurysm many years ago. It brings back memories. The rush of blood I felt in my head, the worst pain I have ever felt, I lay down in my child’s nursing and immediately felt so sick and rushed to the toilet. I thought I was going to pass out. I fought so much then but now I have been left with the worst anxiety.
When you had brush with death you would literally have a different perspective in life. I reached this point when I was already begging for death back when I was 8, because I'm just so tired of fighting and the torture, I was so at peace to accept death that time that my last words before I fell unconscious was not a word of a child. I told god that time that " If it is my time father, then thy will be done " the next day I found myself back on my normal self and I cried.

Along with my father's death due to cancer, then we later on found out that although we are legal, we're not the only family he had, and my mother's bankruptcy in business that almost put her in jail, and my cousin who sexually harassed me. Imagine going through all that from 4 to 8 years old.

This is cool to know and relateable. Less than 2 months ago I started getting a severe headache that would NOT go away. After a week I told my Dad that I probably needed to see a doctor about it. He is only close living family member, and I was at his house spending time with him. He went to store and came back to find me on the ground barely able to breathe and too weak to even move. Got rushed to hospital to find out I had an aneurysm that had broken and it had caused a stroke. It is a very scary experience and for her to go through that + all the filming shows a lot of inner strength. I encourage people to learn the warning signs of stroke and never ignore severe headaches. It very well could save the life of someone you love or your own.

That's scary being someone who gets awful migraines ..... But also it's expensive just to check in n to the ER. U walk in the door or are taken in once u pass that doorframe or get in that ambulance it screwed it's sad and why most people wait.

That is such a sweet friendship. Lovely to see! I've had a traumatic brain injury, too so I can relate. I've had it for decades now, so you can live afterward with really good treatment. I still have seizures, but fewer of them than when it started. It's unbelievably difficult at first, especially since it's not an injury friends and family can see with their eyes. They used to say things like, "You look great, so you must be all healed!" Which felt like a stab to the emotions.
You can just tell they are both genuinely amazing and truthful people with a lot of integrity in their heart. They deserve so much more credit then they receive honestly
She's terrific. As a woman, as a Survivor and as an actor. These two obviously have a wonderful connection. It's so sweet to see.

Nobody knew at first. Jason knew later with few others when they literally had to cut her head open. She kept it a secret from everyone. Jason was sad because he didn't knew she was struggling

She has a wonderful amount of love and support for her husband, his career, and his friendships; and clearly her communication skills are top tear with her husband. I love this story. I love Emilia - one of the best actresses and humans on the Earth. You can see her heart in her performances. I love that she and Jason have a friendship like this and that she had an allie behind the scenes. And Jason meeting her in public places with his giant presence and yelling out lines from the movie!!! - PURE PERFECTION OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE BETWEEN FRIENDS. When you geniunely care about someone so much that your goal is to see them smile and laugh and make it thru. That is genuine love and friendship. Lisa Bonet, is a lucky woman to have this man in her life. And Jason is lucky to have the wife he has to allow him the freedom to be HIM.
