In my opinion, I think that I love one piece when I begin to question myself about the emotions of the artist in the moment of the creation. Not only my happyness, sadness, rage or fear, I also need the curiosity activated by the song, because it drives to me to this fantastic experience that we call music. I dont know if Tony was one day or one month to write this song...but my feeling about this piece is a tremendous galloping euphoria, a frenetic sideral roller coaster...So, in my imagination it seems to have been composed just in a fleeting fantastic moment.
I can not understand how you can play all these different and marvellous songs...How you can translate all these different emotions until our minds and hearts. Fleeing the RUSH of the world, Classic solo spotlight is a lighthouse in the PERMANENT WAVES of the sea of social media, you are sharing the love of music and FREEWILL.
By the way: "Oh🤩yeaahhh!!!" for the final tapping, hidden-angle scale. This one reminded me of Eddie Van Halen best hidden days, amazing amusement scale. Very good taste.
Congratulations and one million thanks!!!
Sheer poetry, my friend. I will keep your prosaic comment as a sticky here until at least the year 2112.
I bought maximum security on cassette tape back in the 80's and it blew me away. Truly one of the original super shredders.
I bought it on Vinyl in UK in 1987.
Probably as good as Yngwie Malmsteen 's Rising force
Tony Macalpine is a genius. Wow. No words to describe another cover. You understand every technique and play very clear. Your skills are in another level.
Thank you very much, I appreciate that
Perfect. Maximum Security is full of amazing songs.
Thank you. It is indeed.
Yes sir! Maximum Security is an excellent album from TMac. Awesome job!!
Thank you. Yes, I only have his first two. Still incredible to this day.
@@ClassicSoloSpotlight interesting story about his first album. I was in a pawn shop back in 2004 and came across his album on Cassette. Having heard of him but never heard him I got it plus the M.A.R.S project he did.. was totally blown away!!! Interesting how things work out sometimes!
@@shredfactor7 That MARS album has my favorite Macalpine soloing on it. You got yourself a bargain.
Great cover, I learned this album when I was 16 years old in 1987. Absolutely loved Tonys tasteful guitar tone.
Fellow Gen-X'er. This is the sound of my Christmas eve 1987.
Remember when I find out about Macalpine in the 80ties and was blown away. You just did this really good.
👑 tony
Another masterpiece.
Thank you Robert.
Tony is also a great pianist...

Wow..!! Most impressive, Peter and what a great way of paying tribute to the guitar genius Tony was in the 80s ! Cheers, Peter.
Thanks Peter. Great to see you here. Cheers mate.
greattttt🎉🎉🎉
Amazing work!
Jesus phenomenal!!!🤘🏻
Super👍
Great! Please, try Autumn Lords.
I only know 3 or 4 TM tracks well. Luckily Autumn Lords is one of them. That could be cool.
Amazing, thank you
You're very welcome.
greatgreatgreatgreatgreat
Hi Peter, old friend, nice cover!
Hey old buddy, thanks for droppng in! Cheers
@@ClassicSoloSpotlight i was looking for your channel, but now found it through Tony's song. Well done, I mean excellently done cover!
Also YM covers are strong as this one, awesome!
Amazing!!! 1000000000 % perfect !!!
Thank you mate
Great job, sounds great like all your other covers. What Dimarzio’s are you using?
Dimarzio Protrack and Virtual solo. My second strat has a Dimarzio Fast Track + virtual.
💥🔥🎸🎸🎸🎸💥🔥🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🤘👍🎼
Great cover, as always👍
Tyvm!
That is a perfect cover, Peter. Great to see how it was done and played
Thank you for sharing :)
My pleasure Jeremie. Thank you.
Wow! You made a perfect rendition of that song!
For me Tmac and particularly Maximum Security is embedded in my memory with the time of Christmas and the discovery of his songs. I was trying so hard to emulate some parts! Now, I can play some of it but still not like you! Good job! 🤘
MS is a strong Christmas memory album for me too when I started playing. Thanks for the kind words.
Stackars bandspelare.
😮🤘🤘👏👏
Buen tema del álbum seguridad total creo
I would love to hear you cover Evil Eye.
I'm also surprised Cesario Filho hasn't done a cover of it with higher audio quality and closer to the original
Awesome! I liked the angle. Indeed, it gives the video some character. I use it myself :)
Thanks!
MacAlpine was always a highly skilled player...too me his tone always was boring, this gents tone was Great!❤
🤘😎🤘
Dude, that strat sounds great. Which dimarzios are in it?
Thanks. Right now only a pro track in the bridge. The neck goes back and forth between a virtual solo and stock fender.
May I suggest Mean Street by Van Halen 1981.
Please let me know what you have to Dimarzio Model about the pickup. It sounds very good!!!
Dimarzio Pro track
What Dimarzio's are in the strat?
Pro track in bridge. Occasionally virtual solo in neck.
Classic Tony's tune with perfect interpretation, congratulations, I just didn't like the camera position, I my humble opinion you should keep it in the same way that you always have done, peace.
Thanks, no problem. I appreciate your comment on the angle. Personally I liked it but I hear you and I'll await any further comments from others. Cheers.
@@ClassicSoloSpotlightI liked the change up, it was cool and I liked the added angles.
I do like your main view as well to be honest with ya, I like pretty much everything that is that’s been featured.
@@paroblynn Thanks for the comment. Yes, this angle features some aspects you don't normally see and I felt it had some nice "character" to it. But it is a far shot which atm means lower quality until I get some more lights. It does obscure certain things, which is why I inserted close ups. So I do understand the first commenter.
@@ClassicSoloSpotlight I love it. I have no problems with it. And for this piece it just added that little bit extra. I have 0 complaints. You are making great, no nonsense, balls to the walls, ass kicking content.
I’m envious in a good way (aside from I’m selling everything I own after watching you absolutely knock everything out of the park) of what you do. You’re bringing these great songs to light without any added bullshit. It’s refreshing.
No stupid faces or white outlines on a shitty thumbnail. Nothing for “influencers.” Just an incredible guitar player bringing these awesome songs out for so many of us to enjoy.
Keep it up and don’t stop.
@@paroblynn You just summed up my whole channel concept and approach absolutely perfectly. Cheers.
