David can you ensure Maori large companies like NGA Tahu & Tainui whom currently Pay no tax are brought to order & made to pay like all other multi million dollar NZ companies.
These Iwi have a huge advantage over their competitors & must cease.
Sanitarium is another whom has exemptions because it’s a church!!!!

Agreed. Let charities pay tax like all other businesses have to and then they can clam back the tax for whatever charitable works they really do. (Salvation Army are another - huge commercial property owner)

I think most people know the country was in dire straits when the current government took power. All I can say is for the government to stay the course and eventually we will come out the other side stronger and more prosperous. 😊

I just hope that Kiwis can hang in there long enough for this responsible, real-life govt. to be able to get the "books balanced" and then begin to start growing this country. It is going to get really tough .... people are going to hurt!

The problem is “staying the course” means continuing to import 350 useless bottom feeders every day to compete against New Zealanders for housing, education and healthcare. ACT have their globalist masters to obey that seek to destroy our culture and economy forever.

Hey, David another message I'm a bit concerned with some cost cuting like : In Wellington, especially in NaeNae and Cannons Creek, Billy Graham is a folk hero.
This former boxer has transformed the lives of 3,500 troubled kids with a 98% success rate through his boxing and life coaching courses. Recognised as KiwiBank Local Hero of the Year in 2011 and made a Member of the NZ Order of Merit in 2012, Graham's program has achieved remarkable results.
Despite this success, the government has just cancelled the $1 million funding that keeps his foundation running.

Well. You are saying we are to live within our means, But The Government is giving Maori Millions. The Government is not taxing Maori. In fact Maori are a drain on our economy. Have been for years and years. Its time for this government to make the burden more equitable. ARE YOU LISTENING DAVID

Sorry, David, you seem to have bought into this idealogy about inflation - I can tell you nobody I know in the self-employed sector has put up prices - some have been static for 10 years plus. The prices have only gone up when fuel has gone up due to - world crises like Russia /Ukraine war - What you have to do is let the marketplace dictate and what you are doing and Labour is doing is allowing banks to make huge profits - draining people banks accounts through unreasonable high mortgages - 0.5% and now 5.5% effectively sending the economy into a nose dive - completely and utterly reckless - - Moderation was the key and now we are paying more in interest than most of our relative partners and trading countries. If you are not going to correct the interest rates you are effectively watching the NZ sink like the Titanic and you should be ashamed.

Of course it it is Thomas. A government should manage it's finances justvlike a household. Money in, money out, what should we spend on, should we borrow, should we save. It's common sense.

We're seriously just tolerating this financial situation.
I'll leave nz next year forever if this economy doesn't build up.
This is the year 3 and I can't spend anymore‌.
Literally I'm bankrupt, I've sold and spent all the savings and investments I've had.
No one is supporting in this situation from government.
After wasting 15 best years of my life here in nz I can't believe I'm poorer than 2009.
    I'm seriously passed off.
