They shouldn't sleep on the soaking sink. The amount of time they had a single dirty plate on that counter just sitting there, it would have helped them.
It's definitely more effective for dishes than an ordinary counter. At minimum.
they are also the only way to fully automate plate cleaning
It seems like putting the kneading counters together and then the oven with the microwave creates those choke points. If Price and Rik each had their own independent counter-cooking system with the flour bag and meat fridge in between, it would be smoother.
Agreed! Although, it'd probably be best with both the rapid mixer and kneading counter and two cooking elements to just have one person doing pies while the other helps the servers with dishes and messes
Weird game fact: The floor buffer can now be upgraded into a buffer robot. It's like the mop roomba robot, but it's for buffering. It helps keep the floor clean and gives a speed boost (I may be mistaken, but this is what I heard from another streamer)

The hax are as follows: You have to do the franchises if you want the crazy tech! I was on a tier 5 stir fry solo franchise: I started with a grabber, I got simple cloth tables and conveyers every round from the store. Multiple franchises is a TOTAL game changer.
Very true! But it's also 100% possible on a Tier 0, just requires some strategic choices
I understand what you were thinking Price with having the grabber going into the sink, but it would have been so much more useful going into the mixer.

I saw an interview somewhere that claimed the missing parent forced the main character to develop faster so the movies weren’t 4 hours long. But also read that it had to do with the passing of Disney’s parents, and his coping with feeling responsible for their demise.
Anyway, love this content! I always wish I had more friends so I could play multiplayer games like these!

Curious about this choke point you created and kept in the kitchen when it would have been easier to push everything up one and simply open up more space - would have made the extra counters more useful to hold other pies.
Price also had a tendency to put the dough on the kneading counter first when they more time effective way would be to put it on the rapid mixer, then the kneading counter (and if you had pushed up to allow for more space, put another dough ball while Rik made the dough on the kneading counter into pie crust.) Since there were also moments where you had placed a ready made raw pie back onto the kneading counter because the ovens where full, this meant less dough could be made - so pushing it back to open another space for the extra pie would be good.
I understand the whole, adding extra options is bad but I feel like its totally possible in this run - especially the mushroom pie - apple pie is understandably harder since extra courses (but they did decrease group size so maybe that will have an effect) and considering the icons are sometimes harder to see I get how it can be hard. I would attempt to go with more menu items in the future though, since sometimes it can feel like your picking the worse option which will be the catalyst to destroy your run, rather than taking the new item and finding a system that will make it work better.
Sorry this was a bit rant (I was going to add a bit on how to layout tables in a more space efficient way but that's harder to explain without visuals and also would probably be to long), I just really enjoy ya'll playing the game!

Here's some secret sauce for getting those ridiculous research cabinets and conveyors:
1) the first 2 days you have to make $80 total so you can buy a blueprint cabinet day 1 and a research desk day 2, no wasted days. This will require ringing the phone a lot! (But you can't fail the first 3 days so push her to the max)
2) after that first blueprint desk, watch it like a hawk--no ringing-- and lock in a research desk then more blueprint cabinets. The first like week you're only really trying to get cabinets and research from the blueprint desks.
3) when you get a copy desk, if your still "low" on cabinets, don't buy your next one but duplicate it. It'll pay for its "lost day" of use after a couple days of being copied. Many high end players will also copy a blueprint desk so they have 4 of them.
Bonus) research desks always upgrade in a CBD cycle: Copy -> Blueprint -> Discount. Sometimes when my first upgrade is a discount desk, and I don't want to wait 2 days for the blueprint cabinet I will (provided money is available) buy the copy desk the next day, TOSS your already purchased research desk. The next day you'll be garaunteed a research desk. Copy it, buy the copy. Then you can constantly upgrade it, buy the copy, upgrade it, buy the copy, until you have all the desks you want.
Most "mad research setups" don't really start to come together till like day 11+ tho, and the crazy automation until after day 15 franchise.
But that's hardcore tryhard mode. It may not be your casual zany fun vibe. Thx for the content!

Hocus Pocus 2 is following the current new Hollywood trend of "Requels" not a reboot, but not a true sequel. It exists usually way later in that movie worlds timeline, mixes in nostalgic settings, music, and actors, but with a new group of actors in a new setting. Think like the new Ghostbusters, Maverik, etc
As soon as someone opened my eyes to what a requel was I saw them everywhere!
Not So Fun Fact- the reason why there were no mothers in alot of early Disney films was because when Walt Disney was just becoming successful, be bought his own mother a mansion to live comfortably in. A few months later she sadly passed away due to a carbon monoxide leak in the new home. Walt according to several accounts blamed himself for his mother's death and as a result refused to have mothers in his films out of guilt. However the specialty train suite he had built for his mother to be able to see the whole park from comfort are still available to see and rent at Disneyland.

According to the Lion King producer because Walt Disneys mother died in a traumatic way they started doing dead mothers or parents as a tribute in the movies (I agree with Rik some of those movies are very scary for a kid)

The gas override works on the hobs and the oven. I'm not 100% sure about the microwave, will have to test that.

Fun fact: in a number of the original fairytales, it wasn't a stepmother mistreating the protagonist - it was the *birth mother.* Guess the Grimm brothers wanted to avoid abuse by blood relative.
it depends on which version of the story your looking at, many of them that Grimm put together have multiple roots in different places, With different details when it comes to the experiences of the main character, from differences in which family member may be the problem, to different solutions, etc... Almost all of them are quite dark by modern standards however regardless.
Just to add a little more info, the reason mom's so often get killed off in all sorts of media (but especially children's books, at very least they have to be MIA) Is because a good mom is going to protect and help her kid, so the kid isn't going to have to face the same kind of challenges, because they'll have an older person helping them. Anyway. TL;DR: Mom's are too OP to be in kids stories
That is not actually the only reason. Many of these stories come from a time when dying in childbirth was actually common and a single family having multiple mom's throughout several kids was not entirely uncommon. Mom's are often dead because mothers in childbirth and infants had the highest mortality rates.

We're Back is by Amblimation which was an offshoot of Spielberg's Amblin after he stopped working with Bluth. Amblimation's only other films were Fievel Goes West and Balto. So Don Bluth vibes, but not Don Bluth movies.

doesn't playing the franchises to a certain point remove a bad card making franchising again a little easier.
So, the only way to "remove" bad cards is to successfully franchise. Once you franchise, you have to pick three of your cards to keep and those are permanently a part of that franchise, no matter how many tiers you do
