Thank you, you saved my life today! I saved 15 cents switching to Fredric's stretcher bars thank you again kind sir, truly a stunning video keep up the how to's!!!
Thank you for this!! Straightforward video without endless chatter or terrible music heh. I had no idea what to do, my roommates warped a frame of a painting I did (mistakingly trusted into their care while I travelled) and I've wanted to sell it, but didn't know how to fix it. Thanks again for teaching me something new :) Cheers!
This was easy and to the point, and with no bullshit. Just fast different methods. I used the method where you have to cut the corners off, was a bit thick at the ends with overlap, but came out nice for my first wrap. It will work. Thank you much!!
thank you for your video first time playing with Canvas photo paper when you order a canvas paper you want 11 x 14 print what size should I keep the photo to overlap 11 x 14 frame
cheers mate, going to buy a stapler online or instore and do it myself. quick question, i bought a canvas ready made as i'm an idiot and had no idea what i was doing haha. can i still stretch my canvas print on it if it has a blank print on it already? cheers
i usually measure from the back round the front to the back, so for a 60cm frame that like 68, so i set to printer for 68 and that way the image wraps fully around. if the image cant do it, say you would chop someones head off etc, then i copy the top 4cm, mirror it, past it back as extra image and where the mirroring starts on the print, i line that up with the top of the fram, so the sides mirror the front.. Anyone found a decent none yellowing varnish?
I don't recommend 'painting' the edges. Just print enough to overlap to completely wrap around. Very easy process and much nicer effect. You actually make a mess of this to be honest.
Not impressed. If you don't know how to really do it then just say so. Don't make a whole video on how to do something the wrong way. There are much better videos. The only thing i learned from this video is what not to do.
This is a disaster! If you value your art at all, please do not use tape or glue on your canvas! Nothing about this process is archival. I cringed during the demo when the "stretcher bars" were laid on top of the art, and again when the artwork was slid across the cutting mat. Best way to damage the image. Please leave it to the professionals!
I love how simple he makes this and relaxed he keeps the instructions.
He doesn't waste your time at all.

It would be a better video if you spent more time on the suggestions on how to do the corners. Thats the part I was having troubles with.
