We Explored An Abandoned Zoo | Rutland Sanctuary Zoo

We explored an small abandoned zoo, Small interactive zoo featuring which used to feature over 75 species of invertebrates & reptiles, with a souvenir shop.
Founded in 2012, Bugtopia seeks to teach people about bugs in an interactive and hands-on way. In doing this, they hope to bat away some of the stigma associated with some of the world’s humbler of creatures. Bugtopia won an award in their first year for their effective and educational approach to their first meet and greet.
Their mission, in their words, is to achieve “Conservation through Education”, to teach the importance of preserving the biodiversity of our world, whilst allowing visitors to get up close and personal with their exhibitions! They specialised in invertebrates and reptiles. #DeeExplores
