Legit, first game first ghost was at the docks/pier thing right by the cabin where that mask was... My buddy called me over and we both saw it, and instantly got hunted. We got killed by Jason's ghost :(

@@Blubableful Not sure if Sym saw the slender man ; apperantly its not ALWAYS there but when it is ; he spawn on the LEFT Of the truck ;if you walk out the truck look towards the left in the woods ; sometimes he's there sometimes he's not
The body under the cabin is refrenced in the lobby ; the uv writing reads "Ï'm under the cabin HELP" if you go lookin under the cabin in the new map (on the left of the cabin where the chair is) you will see a dead body under the Cabin

The one thing that got me curious about this update that I have not seen anyone else mention yet... If you get colder weather like light snow, do you think that that would make the Hantu scarier? Cause it will be quicker?

its been stated many times that Hantu speed with its cold is not actually that fast so probably no, nothing changes

Lol Hantu means ghost in Malay
Raichu is a name derived from the syllable Rai, which is used in words that deal with thunder, energy, etc. Raiju is a Shinto kami of lightning usually portrayed as a wolflike beast, so both using the begging of Rai makes sense... There's a super cool historical artwork of a samurai hunting a Raiju by catching a thunderbolt and pinning it down. It's one of my favorite spirits in Japanese mythology so it's really cool that they added it into Phasmo.

This map would be amazing with a group in VR. You could literally just mess around with all of the games and tell stories by the campfire. The ghost would make the experience 10x more fun by randomly killing people while you are all having a good time. Like an actual movie!
we were all by the campfire playing w the guitar and didn't even realize a hunt started, then one of us died and were like oh shit
Agreed. Now I do hope for a haunted mansion, hotel, castle, graveyard/ curch/ temple/ pagan grounds. Even a tivoli and hospital. I do think mansion was next. And imagine ghosts going haywire on the plinger on hotel ir new mechanic with walking, posessed armors in castle! Hope floating, hovering lit candles, items can be a thing when ghosts mess around, especially more often with poltergeists and onis.
Imagine just hanging around the campfire with your friends and telling ghost stories like in a real camp activities. Then in the middle of it, the hunt start and give you all a heart attack lol
I wish there was a separate chat window for just CJ. So many people freaking out and typing stupid things that it’s easy to miss CJ’s comments.
Insym is so excited that he even goes like “New toilet!!” “Beautiful water!!!!” just hilarious
I like that he laughed loud enough to make his mic clip several times in this video. it's so wonderful watching someone who so genuinely enjoys this game.
I would love to see a Gettysburg like battlefield map and maybe a soldier ghost model to go with it.
Nightmare difficulty on this map will be insane because the ghost wanders so much. 1 game would easily last 30-50 minutes if it's a shade.

As an introvert, the sheer volume of energy Insym gave off in this video was anxiety-inducing. He's the proverbial kid in a candy store here, lmao. This map was totally made for him and I'm so glad he's enjoying it.

It's not a big deal and I'm definitely not complaining or saying Insym should behave differently. I was just a little overwhelmed by it. My palms started to sweat & everything, lol.

Used to play Phasmo with my friend until level 200, now he not only doens't care, when I explained to him the update he said "Is there anything really new though? No jumpscares, anything? It's still boring". And when I showed him the new bones, the locker skeleton easter egg, the lake and was all exited he just wrote: "I see". Killed my mood quite a bit.
I'm sad, had to vent somehow lol.
That said this looks incredible, so glad they're doing something so different.
well, considering i was in ridgeview in a bathroom and the light bulb exploded. so yeah, there is new jump scares. get new friends. fuck that guy.

Burn out happens. I hope this game doesn't go for the absurdly goofy spooks like forced jumpscares, the natural feeling this game has is great.

Honestly, I love the whole Phas dev team! I remember when this first came out and, while I loved the game, I thought it would just die out like all popular indie games after awhile - but the devs have worked so hard to develop this game from good to great, even without fancy ultra-realistic graphics, because the gameplay is just so entertaining 👻
I really like this map. It's the only large map I like. I feel like I can see without a flashlight everywhere so I can use more tools. Love it
I've been playing this map for a bit now and of course my first ghost was a Revenant. On a related note, ghost orbs are VERY easy to miss outside, they're nearly invisible against the sky. Also, it took me FOREVER to find the key for the cabin in the back.
CJ said "GOTEEM" with the jump scare in the lobby. That was hilarious!
Fun fact: the house in this map counts as one room (I had a demon in this map and it was in the house and every time I would go in it the ghost would hunt)

I found out about this game and your channel after a little search for ‘ghost games’ a few months back and been a fan ever since!
Not only are you one of the best players out there but I love the fact that you take the time to explain what you’re doing and why/how things work! I don’t play the game personally (I don’t have a pc) but very much enjoy watching this!

I was just playing this with my sis. and We were in tanglewoods basement and the basement light literally sparked and exploded we both screamed. Were NOT expecting that! Love the update so much. Love the new map too

Yeah they blow up the lights now! Its crazy. I had a crazy Oni in Tanglewood, in the garage. It kept turning the light off. Near the end it turned it off again and I was there, so I turned it back on right away, and then it exploded the lights, scared the crap out of me
Wholsym was so cute, like a kid on Christmas morning. Was so fun to watch

I just played for the first time and got the TWINS for my first ghost/ghosts I've ever went up against, Idk how I succeeded but I actually never espected a hunt o be so terrifying due to the fact I watch you do it haha, keep up the good work

This is the most creative way to go about making a campsite work within Phasmophobia, holy heck!
The only things I could even try to criticize would be things I still am unsure about, like gen teleporting energy to the lanterns (unless there are wired I didn't see) which could be fixed my having battery mechanics, that are recharged at the generator, or they start with a long charge, and drain as you use them.
The other one was lack of hiding places, but that is more of a challenge than a real criticism.
I am blown away with the creativity, especially the tent door, using actual fabric physics for once in a game, making it look good, and making it have a true utility that is important in the game!
Me and my friend jumped straight into nightmare on the new map, it was terrifying. We were both in VR and the Ouija Board told us the ghost was inside the cabin and we couldn’t find the key. Our radios were working (We didn’t know that they work during hunts) but we couldn’t get out of the site, until we see the ghost approach us far down the campsite. It killed us BOTH IN ONE HUNT, holy shit that’s still crazy. Absolutely loving this update to bits, the developers are amazing!
I love how this map is a terrifying, confusing, and overall-overwhelming map especially on nightmare and professional difficulty, and Insym is out here like a kid in a candy store.
If they can make a big map look this good imagine what future small maps will be like .
Challenge run idea for camp site: Min-game challenge, every time you win a camp game you unlock a random item. Like bowling all the pins, or getting the hacky-sack in the hole.

i get what they were trying to go at but like i dont think the ghost behaviors are done well enough to be able to guess like that lol. cause sometimes we get super shy oni's or super aggressive shades

I don't know how common it is and whether it'll be a permanent little addition to the campsite map but there's a chance for slenderman to appear in the woods on the opposite side of the map entrance. That certainly was an uncomfortable surprise on my first exploration of this map going back to the truck

Raiju is an actual old bit of Japanese folklore about a demon made of lightning that often appears as a beast, "Rai" is part of the word meaning lightning, I believe. So it's basically that the phasmo Raiju and Raichu are both based on the same lightning demon.
