like the diorama backdrop, but there is one fatal mistake in the backdrop - on the night the titanic sank there was NO MOON, on this backdrop there is, but part from this fatal mistake it looks like a great little kit.
Jerry, I hope you do a build video of this kit. I'd be interested in hearing your opinion on ease of assembly and if it's detailed enough for your satisfaction.
I am not sure if I am going to build it or not any time soon. I have a few projects going now. I also plan to build the S.S. United States soon. I am still working on the Polar Lights 1:350 scale U.S.S. Enterprise from Star Trek The Motion Picture as well. But if I do build this kit, I am going to definitely add lights to it! =-)
Those who are keen on detail can detail her up using Tom's Modelworks 1/570 photo etch and the Gold's Medal photo etch. I'm painting her up using the new Vallejo Titanic Color set and i have to say with the hull detail and weathered color tones of the Vallejo make her look like a far larger model. It's striking to say the least. So for those grabbing the 1/600 i do recommend painting her up using the Vallejo colors.
Thanks for the review Jerry, I have the ordinary Revell 1:600th kit, but it was interesting seeing the Diorama version. I'm going to paint some of it to bring out the details, overall, it's a nicely detailed, good quality kit. Something that might be of interest to you Jerry, the band leader on the Titanic, Wallace Hartley, came from a place called Colne in Lancashire, not far from where I live, in the North of England. There's a monument dedicated to him on the high street there.
I agree with you. You know, that must be an weak spot on these Titanic Kits. Other ship models for that matter. It seems, at least to me, that the decks never seem to line up straight.
@@Red-rl1xx The 1/200 scale RMS TITANIC model kit is Awesome! It may be over four feet in length. She is one of my most prized model kits. I am going to hold off on building it until I have built a custom case to hold it. How much did they want for the kit at Hobbytown?
Actually, I haven't made it yet. But from my experience with all "Easy Click" type models, I do end up having to use glue to ensure it stays together. But the instructions are pretty straight forward and should be pretty easy to assemble.
Thanks, now I know what to get next time I go shopping
Your going to love it. =-)
This was very helpful bc I’m getting one maybe soon👍
Great! Glad you liked my video. Best of luck with your build!

You know, I thought the same thing when I had seen the moon. But for dramatic purposes, I think it does look great. =-)

It is an easy click system, but some parts do need some glue to hold them together
Very true. Despite any kit saying snap together or easy click system, I think it is just better off glued together.

Nice!
Great review . Thanks 😊👍. Hope I can get a hold of one !
Thank you very much for your kind words. =-)
Sure looks more accurate than the Puzz 3D Titanic I had. Easier to assemble from the looks of it too
I agree. The ship itself is actually a Revell Plastic Model. The Iceberg and stand are more of the 3D Puzzle like cardboard.
Love it ❤️

Chris, Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it. =-) That is awesome to hear of the monument. Would you by any chance have photos of it?
@@TrekFanNCC-1701 I don't have a photo at present Jerry, but I could get one for you.
That would be so cool. Thank you. =^>

i have the easy click titanic but its not perfecti had to glue the deck on some pieces didnt click on so i had to glue it all in all a great model!

Pretty neat!
Thank you.
@@TrekFanNCC-1701 I was at Hobbytown in Knoxville a couple of days ago and they had a 1/200 scale Titanic. I'm guessing it was about 4 ft. long.

@@TrekFanNCC-1701 If I'm not mistaken, it was about $450. Plus, it had a lighting kit included.
Nice
Thank you.

What the fuck! I didn't know revell made this! I gotta get me one now! I love the review! The 3D scene is so fucking incredible! Love it!
Yeah it is pretty cool. =^>
But now titanic is now on Philippines toy Kingdom but im not talking about the 3d iceberg the 2018
I know it says easy click system, but is it easy to assemble and how long did it take you to make?
