Dude!! This is so damn good!
Ahhh thanks so much!’
Love it! 🥰
Outstanding!
No doubt he's very talented, and the tune is great....and he's got that cool 'Micheal Hedges' hair style he once had...as far as Slim's playing style, just too 'Safety Play-ish', like doing a 'Safety Dance' for these jazz tunes....you can put thousands of these players together, and never can tell 'who's who', and then 9 out 10 times I don't need to hear another track...because every other song is going to be so similar in they're collection....it really becomes so boring, not the quality at all, as in most cases it's just that something is not jumping out like "Hey, this guy/girl played something straight 'out of the box'!"...and not by the quality of an instrument, or being a level up experienced artist, but more like an underdog.
Thanks for the POV! You should check out some of music beyond just this one tune before rushing to judgment, it’s all pretty easy to find! Maybe start with “54321” and go from there….maybe some live videos….but every tune doesn’t have to reinvent the wheel either IMO….sometimes familiarity works too!! Have a good one!
