I would have counted and wrapped every one of those coins. You may have had some old, valuable ones. How do you know the machine is giving you an accurate count? I saw an investigative reporter test several different machines and one of them was off by almost $50!
I check them b4 the go into the jugs and the banks coin machine was rather similar to my count bc i always keep record of how much i have so i cant tell if it was me or the machine will keep close eye next cash in thanks for the info
Those machines are regulated by the government. It would be extremely rare to see a machine that had an inaccurate count. Just like scales used in commerce and gas pumps.

I would have kept the coins. Heck I would have paid more than face value to aquire that hoard.
