Just found your channel and very impressed. When I was detecting 15 years ago I always found the Tesoro machines were incredible on heavily iron infested sites and you are proving they still are
The hammered coin is awesome Paul but the effort did not go unnoticed with me. That is tough hunting to say the least, well done. Also, I would love to know the path that hammered coin took over hundreds of years to land it on the foreshore cloaked under a layer of iron.
If I'm not mistaking that older Cutlass has the D-90 discriminate circuitry like my original Tesoro El Dorado. Searching around iron laden areas I keep the discrimination on 0-mininum and pick out the non-ferrous signals from the Sea of Ferrous which Tesoro's are great at. Congrats on the hammered silver!
I really love your content. I want to restart metal detecting after a break of 10 years. Still got my old Vaquero, was thinking about buying something "newer". But your videos tell me it still seems to be a good detector, even without all the bells and whistles other machines provide. Keep up the good work, mate.
Nice one on finding that Paul. I'da said it yesterday, only I'd got myself kicked off YT for twenty-four hours. I suggested to a certain, "Suthun Genamun", that a white stick and blinkers would better suit his needs. And that his myopic understanding of "things" was matched only by his being a corpulent onanist..... But yeh man, good on you for showing what it takes to be the real deal and shaming the onanists out there.

CONGRATS to the Cutlass for paying penance to the Analog King.
Thanks Rick 👌
Wow !
Well done that man 😀🤸🤸🤸
You never know when they'll pop up 😉🙂
Thank you 👌

Well done Paul, especially given the conditions you’re hunting in. The Cutlass was made for there. Loving the content, keep it coming 😉
Thanks Trevor, if you're digging non-ferrous then eventually something good will come 👍🏻
That bit of lead with "summit goin on" looks like the remains of a toy musket.

Thanks Jason, that section of the river is crazy but if you understand the audio of your machines it's actually a pleasure to hunt 👌
HAMMER TIME! Huge congrats!!! More musket-ball madness!!
All that… with that outdated POS? Freakin love it! 😂😂😂
😂

Thanks for watching 😃 you use machines that you love swinging, don't get caught up in the marketing rubbish of the latest and greatest
Yes, those Tesoro detectors are indeed rubbish! 😂
It sure is shit
Tesoro's are great for discriminating out iron and still finding good targets. Too bad they went out of business back in 2018.
They have brilliant discrimination circuits, some of the best

Thanks Tim, twats don't like hearing the truth, that's why we've got to keep speaking it ✌🏻
@KernowekTim Tim I have no idea why your comments aren't showing up on my latest videos, it's really confusing me
Tim I don't know why I can't see your comments
Hi. Interesting, tesoro have big DD coils, but haven't big concentric. Why?
I do actually have a large concentric coil for the Tesoro
@@paulwarrenmetaldetecting Tell us about her work? Maybe you can make a video about working with a large concentric.
Try the Tarsacci MDT 8000....
I don't like machines with displays, it won't offer anything more than what I already have
well there you have it. discrimination at its best. great video
The Cutlass with the 7' inch concentric coil is a really great combination
