    Doc i have a question ! Can a person age 60 can develop asthma de Novo? Or new wheeze in 60 yrs old person is heart failue until proven otherwise!

      It's very unlikely Asthma after 60. Rather COPD or heart failure.

      Stroke volume is the volume of blood pumped from the left ventricle for example. Ejection fraction is the volume of blood pumped from the left ventricle compared to the total amount of blood in the left ventricle. So Stroke volume is the volume of blood whereas ejection fraction is a percentage. But both stroke volume and ejection fraction is referring to the same thing: how much blood is pumped from the left ventricle.
