@@theRealSlimGordon I think the website was referring to all results, including last place. I guess since tracks are usually attibuted to a single composer it's a bit more personal. Though I agree it's a bit weird that it extends to the top 10 too
Khezu's theme got too high up, didn't it? It'd probably hurt someone's self-respect for life if their song fell below literal silence.
The composers have worked on many MH games and many themes. Perhaps revealing that Composer X got last place could hurt them professionally. It wouldn't matter if their themes also landed high up, you don't want to be the last-place guy/gal.
It seems weird at first but now it makes sense and I have even more respect for the MH team.

@cybertrong1219 I think the only one that could've actually contended would have been Zinogre given just how Super Popular that monster is
Ceadeus, while an absolutely GODLY theme, is not very well known to the general public due to not being in World, Rise or even GU.
Bazel could have been a contender but there's still just a completely different Level that Vastrax has on it (plus since it's an invader I wouldn't put it past a lot of people just generally being sick of it's theme)

This reminds me of circa 2017-2018, back when I didn’t even know Monster Hunter by name, let alone have a good grasp on what it was, and I came across a video of someone hunting Valstrax for the first time, and even just from the parts of the theme that I could make out well I knew it was one of the best themes in gaming.

I REALLY wish this did the Encore moment like what Rise did. Yeah I'll admit between the GU and Rise take of the song, GU was better as far as tone goes.
