Here’s your store front pitch “ Hi I’m ____ with ____ window cleaning, we’re expanding in this area and giving bids for everyone on this street today, here’s your bid (hand them a bid and a tri fold brochure) would you like to get that cleaned today?” Now just wait for them to talk. Most of them will say they already have a window cleaner. You respond by saying. “ great! reliable window cleaners are hard to come by these days. You have my card, let me know if your window cleaner ever disappears and will get you taken care of right away” follow up with them within 48 hours if they don’t give you a straight answer. If they do give you a straight no follow up a month later. You’ll get three to four times as many sales from the follow up as you will from initially going in there. Average on the spot close rate for door-to-door storefront Window Cleaning is 10%. So for every 10 stores you go into and give that pitch. You will land one on average. That’s average so one day it might be higher than the other day, but over the long run if you just keep hitting the pavement, you will get work
