  • Come along for a late summer walk through downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota USA. Recorded with an iPhone XS around 2pm on Monday, September 19th, 2022.
On this beautiful sunny day we start by exploring the exterior of the Wells Fargo operations center at 255 2nd Ave. The building sold to Sherman Associates last week for 6.4 million. The developer plans to demolish the building in order to build their project “Harmonia” which will feature three towers with plans for multi family, retail, restaurant, and potential office use.
After exploring the site we walk up Washington Avenue, looking at the new Minneapolis Fire Station number 1 and the site of another mixed use project by Sherman Associates. We walk around the future site of a six story affordable housing building and a 21 story mixed use building before where we continue up Washington Avenue until we get to 35w where we turn toward the Mississippi River. We check out the new residential tower “eleven” at 1111 west river parkway before walking along the mill ruins park, by the Carlisle tower, and back to Washington Ave.
